TNC Predator kicks March despite success in SEA region
TNC Predator had a very successful Dota 2 season, but that isn’t stopping the team from making some serious changes.
The organization announced the departure of captain Park "March" Tae-won. This is the latest big move in what has been an active shuffle period for the Southeast Asian region, and the first major change to TNC’s lineup this year.
“We would like to thank Park Tae-won for his efforts in bringing the team closer to the apex of Dota 2's competitive scene and with this, we are announcing his release from our official team roster…[March] will always be a key mover for this team and we will always cherish the fruits of the hard work our roster achieved,” TNC said in a series of tweets.
There is end to everything, had a great run met amazing teammates and people. The best year I had in my long dota career. Thank you for everything TNC. GL in the future. Will miss dynamic pinoy fans.

and now LFT
No clear explanation was given as to why March and TNC split, but the announcement suggests that he was kicked from the team. Despite this, March stated that he was grateful for his time with TNC and noted that he doesn’t plan on stepping away from pro Dota 2 for the time being.
March’s split from TNC Predator continues journeyman status
March joined TNC Predator at the start of the 2019-2020 Dota Pro Circuit season. This was a great landing spot for March as it marked a return to the SEA region and his first time with a prominent organization since leaving MVP Phoenix in 2016.
The addition of March was a surprise for the team as TNC had been exclusively playing Filipino players over the previous two seasons. Despite that, his time with the team was hugely successful as TNC won ESL One Hamburg and followed that up by becoming the first SEA team in history to win a Dota 2 major at MDL Chengdu.
TNC dropped off from there, with the team surprisingly failing to qualify for the ESL One Los Angeles Major and underwhelming in online leagues during the summer. Despite that rough patch, TNC’s last competition saw the team take first place in winning ESL One Thailand’s SEA league.
Where March lands now post-TNC is unclear, but the SEA region has a number of squads in a state of transition. There are several potential landing spots available for March, though it’s always possible he’ll team back up with some of his former MVP Phoenix teammates to form a new squad.
