Tarzaned banned, receives two-week suspension for boosting
Famed League of Legends streamer Tarzaned just received a two-week ban for account boosting.
During a live stream, Riot Games issued Tarzaned the ban for allegedly boosting another account after a solo queue game. Tarzaned appeared suprised by the ban on stream and didn't seem to know why it was happening at first, though he also seemed to recognize the reason for the ban after reading the notification.
"It doesn't make sense. It's just not fair," Tarzaned said. "I can't wait to find out why."
"MMR boosting? Oh. I'm not really sure when I boosted," Tarzaned muttered after receiving the notification.
The former top-ranked player continued to deny that he boosted another account after the live stream was over. He later took to Twitter to complain about the situation, noting that he has now received two bans within the last 16 months.
"Another manual BS ban based off of bias and no facts. Best company of all time," he tweeted.
The Twitch personality went on to say that he was not able to "get banned for toxicity anymore," so he believes Riot has banned him for something he already got suspended for in the past.
The situation Tarzaned is referring to is a leaked recording of him win trading in a ranked match in June. In the video, Tarzaned speaks with a member of the enemy team in voice comms, sharing information with them.
"This is the cleanest win trade ever. We just fucking queue up same game instantly. Boom. Free win. What are the odds of that?" Tarzaned says at the start of the video.
The ban doesn't seem to be slowing down the infamous streamer and personality when it comes to controversy.
He recently tweeted, "Do people on r/lol pretend to be stupid as fuck?"
