Fnatic Partners with Rivalry
Fnatic have announced a new partnership with betting website Rivalry.
The video announcement focused on the organization's goals to enhance esports. The deal also promotes responsible esports betting practices through the education of bettors.
Rivalry is a new betting website established earlier in 2018. The website is an esports sportsbook licensed by the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission. Instead of Dota 2 items or in-game skins, betting in Rivalry.gg is conducted through the use of real money.
“We’re excited to have found a partner in Rivalry.gg, who are as passionate about Esports and competition as we are,” said Fnatic CEO Woter Sleijffers.
As a major sponsor, each player from Fnatic will add “Rivalry.gg” to their in-game names. The deal also dictates that the Rivalry logo will appear on Fnatic jerseys and on content across the Fnatic website.
Fnatic will open a pop-up store during The International 2018 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver. Fnatic merchandise can be purchased in this pop-up store, called the Offlane Shop. Merchandise from different TI8-participating teams such as Evil Geniuses and OG is also available at the Offlane Shop.
Earlier this month, Rivalry entered into a partnership with prominent journalist Richard Lewis.
