ZZZ has started the Today’s Recommended Film event, and players who don’t want to read a novel each day will want an upfront guide with all the answers.
The second half of Zenless Zone Zero’s 1.5 update is giving players something to do, but it has largely been a bit of a drag. Though players can always use the time to build up their characters and pre-farm for upcoming ZZZ banners, the events have been very small in scope.
Today’s Recommended Film isn’t a particularly big event. It still offers generally solid rewards for a small investment of time and effort. It can take a while if players don’t get the right answers though, so here are the right choices for each day of the event.
The Today’s Recommended Film event is a spiritual successor to ZZZ’s Daily Life of a PubSec Officer event from 2024. Unlike Daily Life of a PubSec Officer, this one doesn’t just explicitly say what the answer is.
Players need actually to read what the customers are requesting and the sometimes-lengthy movie description, then make a judgment call on what the best video to choose is. Not only that, but Zenless Zone Zero also actively tries to trick the player. Multiple characters will want the same movie and Billy can look for something other than the Starlight Knights.
Each day of the event has a specific set of characters appear seeking movies. While some characters appear at a fixed point during the day, most of these are random. Regardless, the movie they’re seeking will stay the same.
The rewards for each day of the Today’s Recommended Film event include Dennies, Senior Investigator Logs, Specialized Burn Chips, and Polychromes. The daily rewards are the same for each day of the event. Players who participate in all five days can also receive a one-time pack of five Boopons.
If players get 3,000 points on the day, they receive:
After getting 5,000 points during a day, players receive another set of rewards on top of the 3,000 point rewards. These packs include:
As is tradition, these rewards are meant to help players quickly build up the current limited-time banner character. In this case, that’s the fire attacker Evelyn. While she needs much more than the 10 Specialized Burn Chips and 200,000 Dennies offered during the event to be fully kitted, this is a help for players.
