ZZZ 1.6 banners, release date info for Trigger, Pulchra, and Anby
HoYoverse has seemingly confirmed the new banner characters for ZZZ version 1.6, and we likely already know the release dates for Silver Soldier Anby, Trigger, and Pulchra.
Version 1.5 of Zenless Zone Zero and Astra Yao’s run as a top support are only a few days old but the developers wasted no time teasing players with what’s to come. January 23 saw three new playable characters confirmed for the game. This includes a new version of free-to-play star Anby, OBOL Squad’s Trigger, and the newly minted Son of Calydon Pulchra.
The three characters were revealed through drip marketing, but fans are desperate to find out more. Here’s everything that’s known about the release dates, roles, and attributes of Trigger, Silver Soldier Anby, and Pulchra.
ZZZ 1.6 banners set to star Trigger, Silver Soldier Anby, and Pulchra
ZZZ’s banners will be headed by new S-rank characters Trigger and Silver Soldier Anby, with Pulchra seemingly being added as a new A-rank character alongside one of them.
HoYoverse revealed all three in quick succession, a surprise move by the company. Leakers have typically scooped new character reveals, but these three came out of the blue for fans. Many expected Pulchra to eventually become a playable character. Having her revealed alongside the new OBOL Squad additions as an A-rank character was a shock, however.

Silver Soldier Anby
Silver Soldier Anby is an S-rank character coming in ZZZ version 1.6 via a limited banner, and is likely to have the earliest release date of these three new characters. She will be an electric attacker, adding yet another electric DPS option alongside Anton, Harumasa, Yanagi, and Grace.
This new version of Anby isn’t just a new skin, either. She is a distinct character with a different role, going from an electric stunner to an electric attacker. Silver Soldier Anby’s role is vague, however. While it’s suggested that she’s a former member of OBOL Squad and has a similar look to Soldier 11 and Trigger, it’s unknown who she’s aligned with.
It’s also unclear how this dynamic will work inside the game. The promotional materials make it explicit that Silver Soldier Anby is the same person that fans are familiar with. Will players be able to use dual-Anby team compositions, though? That’s uncertain.

Trigger
Trigger is confirmed to be the second member of the OBOL Squad, giving Soldier 11 a long-awaited teammate. She’s set to be another electric stunner, joining Qingyi and the original version of Anby.
Trigger has been referenced in the game previously as part of Soldier 11’s dialog and agent story. This is the first time fans have actually seen her, though. The fact that she is a member of OBOL Squad suggests there could be other bits of new content for the under-explored faction. Players still can’t max out their relationship with Soldier 11, and there’s no OBOL Squad Bangboo. That may change in version 1.6.

Pulchra
Pulchra is set to be an A-rank physical stunner, who will arrive during Zenless Zone Zero version 1.6. She fills a major hole in the game’s A-rank roster, which has only had one stunner since launch.
Fans met Pulchra in Zenless Zone Zero‘s 1.2 update as an enemy of the Sons of Calydon. She famously had a tussle with Burnice during the story and had a doppelganger version in certain commissions. Fans have wanted her to be a playable character for some time now, and will get their wish during ZZZ’s next update.
Release dates for Trigger, Silver Soldier Anby, and Pulchra in ZZZ
Trigger, Silver Soldier Anby, and Pulchra will be released as part of Zenless Zone Zero’s 1.6 update, which is scheduled to arrive on March 12, 2025.
Silver Soldier Anby and Trigger are slated to be the new S-rank agents and will be featured on separate banners. It’s uncertain who the probable A-rank Pulchra will be released with. Silver Soldier Anby’s drip marketing arrived several hours before Trigger’s, which suggests she will come out first.
Depending on how long ZZZ version 1.6 runs, this would put the release date for the second banner on either March 26 or April 2.
