Steamin’ Reels proves its value in Yassuo’s latest session
Steamin’ Reels may not be Pragmatic’s most popular slot release, but Yassuo’s latest win shows the game has far more potential than its low profile suggests.
Pragmatic Play has been on a solid run with new releases impressing players of all tastes, but Steamin’ Reels ended up getting overshadowed by flashier titles and established hits. Part of that comes down to its old-school visuals and the overused Wild West theme, which may not catch your attention in a crowded catalog.
Still, the game was only released in March 2026 and there is time for it to become a favorite; fans got the chance to watch the new slot in full action on Yassuo’s recent stream, where the streamer put the game’s high-paying features to full use and walked away with a $350,000 payout.
How Yassuo landed a $500K payout in Steamin’ Reels
Steamin’ Reels puts its train-based bonus system front and center, which is a fresh change from usual reel-based slots. Most big wins in this slot come from carriages beneath the grid, which carry fixed cash prizes and Golden Tickets. During the bonus round, these Golden Tickets unlock extra spins and higher multipliers, making larger payouts increasingly likely.
Reels are still relevant, as whether the Golden ticket gets punched or not depends entirely on the Station Master or Crossing symbol that lands through usual spins. For Yassuo, it was the carriage system that ended up paying big. The streamer started with a $1370 base bet on the slot’s free spins bonus while playing the game on Roobet. Right off the bat, he was able to punch three Golden tickets, earning a 2x multiplier. However, he could do better. Three more tickets and he would activate a 5x multiplier that would apply to all wins.
It was definitely Yassuo’s lucky day who landed three more Golden tickets and upgraded his bonus to 5x multiplier with 10 more spins to work with. From here, every collected carriage value was multiplied five times, and he also had enough spins to keep cycling the train.
As spins continue, repeated Station Master symbols pull in carriage values like $34,000, $86036, and smaller hits like $24,000, all boosted by the 5x multiplier. All of this happened in the first few spins, but the slot slowed in the final spins, and Yassuo looked quite disappointed.
However, he had gathered enough to more than justify his base bet. At the end of the bonus, Yassuo’s total was locked in at $358,487 in 30 free spins.
