Marvel Rivals Ultron comic

Heroes and villains fill the ranks of Marvel Rivals, and Ultron may reportedly join soon.

Marvel Rivals launched with all 33 characters unlocked, instantly earning praise from the FPS community. Since its release, the game has been gaining popularity and stealing players from other games, with Overwatch 2 having the lowest player count it’s had in a while.

A large part of Marvel Rivals’ success stems from its unique cast of characters. The engaging gameplay for every role means fans will hardly feel disappointed playing their favorite characters. NetEase also promised new characters to debut regularly for the game.

Leaks may have revealed the next Marvel Rivals character.

Marvel Rivals leak reveals Ultron in strategist role

Reports suggest Ultron will be the next character for Marvel Rivals. Ultron is a popular villain from The Avengers, an artificial intelligence who first wanted to “reset” Earth. He has superhuman physicals, a terrifying energy blast, and a vast intellect, as befits an AI created by Hank Pym.

Despite these aggressive qualities, Ultron will reportedly be a strategist in Marvel Rivals. While this may surprise some fans, it does fit the character. After all, he’s an evil robot mastermind who often delegates tasks to drones Ultron is an intellectual bruiser, ready to fight when faced with adversity.

The leak was shared on X by RivalsLeaks, who also posted a blurry image of Ultron’s supposed abilities. Here is Ultron’s possible kit:

It’s currently unknown who Ultron has any Team Up abilities with or what they would be. Some fans speculate Iron Man since he’s the creator of the Ultron Program in the MCU, which was meant to keep peace. When Ultron became sentient, Iron Man and the Avengers had to fight the rogue robot, taking him down to protect the world. Since Hank Pym isn’t in the game yet, Iron Man is Ultron’s most likely partner.

Leakers speculate that Ultron will be released as part of Season 1 in January 2025. Fans hope the developers make an announcement soon and confirm Ultron’s abilities. Ultron’s kit makes him look like a good support for beginners but only time will tell.
