When does the current Fortnite season end? This is a question that’s always important to know the answer to. For one thing, many elements of the season, such as the items and characters, will go away at that time. That is also when players will no longer be able to earn battle pass rewards.

How long until the Fortnite season ends?

The current Fortnite season, Chapter 7 Season 4, began on August 20. It’s expected to run through November 1. At time of writing we’re just 2% through the season, and there are approximately 72 days remaining as of August 21. It has truly only just begun.

That means there are over two months left to work towards unlocking the following rewards on the Battle Pass:

Sonic the Hedgehog
Phantom
Geno
Grace Crowne
Mali
Wrixel
Bastian

After September 1, those characters will go away, though they can one day return individually in the Item Shop. Plenty of the season-specific items and NPCs will, too, though we don’t know for sure which ones and won’t until leaks arrive as well as when the season changes.

When does the OG Fortnite season end?

The OG season for that game mode is not tied to the above information. It’s a totally different season, even if the two sometimes overlap. When Chapter 7 Season 4 of Battle Royale changes, OG will not.

OG Season 9 will end on September 2, 2026. It will then transition into Chapter 1 Season X, bringing about the final season of that original chapter. It is unclear what happens after that. Does OG include Chapter 2? Will they just cycle through all seasons and then start over? Will OG mode be relevant any longer? Epic Games has been quiet, but leaks suggest it will roll into Chapter 2 Season 1.

There are also Battle Pass items tied to that one as well. Plus, everything that happened in Season 9 originally will largely go away with the transition to Season X.

When do the LEGO and Festival seasons end in Fortnite?

The current Fortnite seasons for LEGO and Festival will also end at their allotted points. Like the other modes, their seasons are pretty much on their own schedules as well. OG and Battle Royale don’t mean much for these two.

LEGO’s current season began on April 16. This mode has much longer seasons than the other modes, with the end set for October 26. Festival’s season, which is also a new Battle Pass but also a different featured artist, is the same way. The Lil Tecca season is currently underway and ends October 31, and the Chappell Roan season predated it. There is still plenty of time to unlock everything Lil Tecca has in this season.
