Team Vitality vs LOUD Match Analysis
We didn’t really expect any of these two teams in the grand final, as we didn’t rate either of them too highly in our initial VCT Champions Power Rankings, but here they are.
It’s safe to say Vitality have had a very disastrous 2026 season so far, as they were losing to Tier 3 teams just months ago. However, they’re peaking at the perfect time, especially when the team’s rookie Sayonara has been the team’s highest-performing player in the playoffs.
Just yesterday, Vitality took down 100 Thieves in a Best of 5 lower bracket final match with a 3-1 victory. 100T were our primary favorite to win VCT Champions 2026, and Vitality took them down just like that. The EMEA squad is now high on momentum and hungry to go home with the trophy.
On the other hand, we have LOUD, one of the youngest squads in the entire event. Half of their roster had just turned 18 this year – the minimum age requirement to play in VCT. However, their two heavy hitters – lukxo and Erde have been putting in some serious work for the team, dropping 1.36 and 1.34 ratings throughout the playoffs.

LOUD have already taken down the best Valorant teams at this event, including Paper Rex and NRG to get to the grand final, so it’s impossible to count them out.
The two teams recently played against each other in the upper bracket, with LOUD taking a very narrow 2-1 win. So, who’s going to win this all-important rematch for the title?

Team Vitality vs LOUD Betting Picks and Predictions
Yes, LOUD have already beaten Vitality just a few days ago, but the series was extremely close and could have gone either way. It’s also worth noting that there was a round rollback on the final map that killed Vitality’s momentum while they were winning.
But to be completely honest, their past head-to-heads might not be the main talking point here. It’s the fact that the LOUD players are playing on their biggest stage yet – none of these guys have ever played in an international grand final before, so the pressure must be mounting.
On the other hand, Vitality have incredible experienced players, and even multi-international winners like Derke and Chronicle. In a close match like this, we believe going with experience is the best bet, which is why we’re taking Vitality to win.
