apEX and company are looking to add yet another trophy to their cabinet. Attempting to stop them will be GamerLegion, one of the biggest surprises at this event.

There’s really not much to say about Vitality – it’s no surprise seeing them make another deep run. However, it’s worth noting their journey to the playoffs wasn’t the cleanest. Vitality won both of their group stage matches against FUT Esports and G2 Esports, but it’s safe to say they didn’t play the clean Counter-Strike we always expect to see from them.

They almost lost the series to FUT and were pushed to a third game against G2. Still, Vitality are known to start events slow then pick up the pace later on. They should enter this semi-final fully refreshed and ready to show us their best Counter-Strike.

GamerLegion have been an anomaly at this event. They’re one of the lowest-ranked teams here at BLAST Rivals, but managed to make it to the semi-finals. GamerLegion took down FURIA and Astralis, which are two very respectable opponents.

However, we can’t compare Vitality to the likes of FURIA and Astralis – this is a completely different beast and the best CS2 team in the world we’re talking about. The chances of GamerLegion winning this series are extremely slim.

Team Vitality vs GamerLegion Betting Picks and Predictions

We are highly confident that Team Vitality will take the series – no hiding that. A 2-0 victory is very much on the cards, which is why we’re taking Team Vitality -1.5 maps.

However, GamerLegion do have an edge. Team Vitality have historically avoided Ancient and Anubis, but GamerLegion don’t mind playing either of these maps. With Vitality only getting one ban in the first veto phase, we’re likely to see Snax and his boys picking one of the two.

If that’s the case, we could see them making the map very close, which is why we’re also going for a value bet on GamerLegion’s round handicap on their map pick.
