VCT Masters London Final Swiss Stage Predictions: Who Makes the Playoffs?

There are only two playoff spots remaining at VCT Masters London, and the final day of the Swiss Stage will decide which teams claim them. Every match today is a must-win, with elimination on the line for all four teams involved. Here are our VCT Masters London Swiss Stage predictions for the final day.
NRG vs FUT Esports Predictions
NRG will take on FUT Esports in a do-or-die match. We have a very experienced team on one side, and several international rookies on the other.
To be completely honest, NRG have not looked great at this event. They won their first series thanks to keiko pulling off incredible individual form. When it came to the match against Leviatan – where keiko didn’t replicate that performance – the team fell pretty flat.
Still, NRG are notoriously slow starters at events, and the past two matches might just be the warmup they need to finally show up when it matters most.

On the other hand, FUT Esports are a fearless squad with some impeccable aim. Their only loss this tournament came at the hands of Team Vitality, who are looking like one of the best teams here. The series was also extremely close – had they not thrown away their lead on Map 2, FUT would have easily won it 2-0.
The Turkish squad look like they are in excellent form, no doubt about that. However, with inexperienced players on the roster, the question is whether they can perform without letting the pressure get to them.
It’s hard to call this one, but we’re optimistic about FUT winning at least one map, especially if they get their hands on Haven.
Our prediction:
- FUT Esports +1.5 Maps @ 1.51

Global Esports vs Xi Lai Gaming Predictions
The final match of the VCT Masters London Swiss Stage is between Global Esports and Xi Lai Gaming.
Global Esports put on an inspiring performance, knocking out regional rivals FULL SENSE even when Primmie was dropping insane ratings on all maps throughout the series. They were making sharp calls, and their individuals weren’t playing too badly at all.
In fact, some players like PatMen were underperforming and they still got the job done – if he bounces back, Global Esports will look even better than they did yesterday.
Unfortunately, China has looked like the weakest region in this tournament. Xi Lai Gaming took down Dragon Ranger Gaming in an elimination match and even dropped a map despite being the heavy favorites.
This victory also required happywei to drop a record-breaking 2.28 rating on the decider map just to push them across the finish line. Simply put, XLG don’t look too good.

We’re going to back Global Esports in this series with pretty high confidence – they should win this series 9 out of 10 times. As a result, we’re taking Global Esports to win.
Our prediction:
