It isn’t surprising that Paper Rex is the favorite to win this tournament, considering the team got the furthest in the recent Champions event relative to the other competing teams. FunPlus Phoenix and Bilibili Gaming haven’t managed to impress fans sufficiently to stand out from the pack, so the expectations around those two teams aren’t as high.

Gen.G and G2 Esports are both strong teams. In particular, G2 is considered one of the strongest professional Valorant teams in the world today, even if its performance recently hasn’t been as strong as it was earlier in the year. Considering the team is coming off a strong win at the Red Bull Home Ground 2025 tournament, it may be a good contender to reach the grand final and even win the entire thing.

Gen.G’s 2024 was strong, but the team was pretty inconsistent in 2025. Its performance in the first half of the year showed potential, with the team even reaching the top three of the 2025 Esports World Cup. But after that, Gen.G finished 7th in the last VCT Pacific stage of the year and disastrously lost to Fnatic in the 2025 SOOP Valorant League. The team could potentially cause an upset here if it bounces back from its slump, but it’ll be hard for bettors to rely on that potential even if the squad has advantageous odds at the Valorant Radiant International event.

Ultimately, G2’s strong recent play and high ceiling makes it a good outright odds pick at Valorant Radiant International 2025 given that it offers better playoff potential than does slight favorite Paper Rex.

Our Valorant Radiant International 2025 betting pick: G2 to win at 3.25 odds on GG.BET.
