Singer and streamer Jourdin Pauline accused Twitch content creator Tylil James of the thetylilshow channel of assaulting her, and the accused has now responded with supposed evidence while claiming that he’s innocent and working to sue his accuser.

Jourdin accused Tylil James of assaulting her at a Streamer Awards afterparty where she said that she had been left stranded and without a phone. She didn’t directly name Tylil as the one to have assaulted her, but it didn’t take the streaming community long to connect the dots. Tylil didn’t initially respond to the allegations and the community was left divided on the matter.

Twitch streamer Tylil has now addressed the allegations directly, vehemently denying any wrongdoing while also claiming that he is pursuing a defamation lawsuit against Jourdin.

Why is Tylil suing Jourdin Pauline?

Tylil has stated that he’s suing Jourdin Pauline because she defamed him by accusing him of assault.

During a recent stream, Tylil became emotional while talking to his live viewers about the allegations that have been leveled against him. The streamer showed a picture of a Zelle request that he claims was sent by Jourdin, alleging that she was blackmailing him with her claims following the Streamer Awards. He was firm in his own claims that would never commit such acts as what Jourdin had accused him of.

Tylil discussed the severity of the claim and revealed that his legal team had already issued a cease-and–desist order to Jourdin. The Twitch streamer also stated that he’s actively pursuing a defamation lawsuit against Jourdin for allegedly maligning his name and reputation with the accusation.

The streaming community’s reaction to Tylil’s response was immediate, with some who were previously supporting Jourdin as the victim coming around to the streamer after hearing his accounting of the events. While Tylil’s proof hasn’t been independently verified, some have still reacted to his outwardly emotional response with sympathy for the content creator.

Jourdin made a series of tweets in response, seemingly confirming the authenticity of the Zelle request but claiming it was for a phone that Tylil had broken. She also alleged that authorities had been given “all the details” and reiterated the claimed veracity her accusations.

Her tweets were later deleted, but some users managed to screenshot them and spread what she’d said. The tweets were later shared again, leaving community members speculating as to why Jourdin was removing her comments to begin with.

The situation between Tylil and Jourdin remains a developing one, and further updates are expected given the apparent involvement of both authorities and lawyers. But greater details may not be publicly shared for some time should the dispute progress to the courtroom rather than continuing to play out in the public arena of social media and streaming.
