Tyler “Tyler1” Steinkamp issues an apology to his fellow Onlyfangs members after the disastrous second raid of 2025.
Tyler1 and Onlyfangs founders Sodapoppin and Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudo planned the first raid roster for February 2025. 40 streamers joined the premiere raid of the year, and hopes were high going into the weekend. Of those 40 people, six died during the Onyxia raid. The low death count nonetheless impressed fans, but things quickly took a turn when Tyler1 died on the second OnlyFangs raid of 2025.
LEADING MY MOLTEN CORE RAID…
Mere seconds before Baron Geddon died, Tyler1 burned to death, destroying weeks of progress on a powerful Warrior character. The streamer had called for his team to pour on DPS, even requesting big heals as the Baron’s health whittled down. Unfortunately, the big heals couldn’t overcome the raid boss’s damage. The resulting crashout led to Tyler1 blaming specific members, and his eventual exit from the guild.
After calling out several OnlyFangs members on stream, Tyler1 apologized for his toxic behavior during and after the raid. “That was way out of line……Pulling their names up on stream, I am a f—ing father now,” said Tyler1 in a rare calm moment. Before the apology, Tyler1 had brought up the specific names of Onlyfangs members who he felt did not perform. The streamer did stand by his take that the call, though not the best, was justified in the heat of the moment.
Many of those he criticized did not agree with his final call before dying. In Hardcore WoW, pouring on the DPS while the boss is close to death doesn’t necessarily mean ignoring the boss’s mechanics. Some players claim that Tyler1 should have kept to the strategy and won the raid without dying himself. Sodapoppin, although empathetic of Tyler1’s mistake, was annoyed at the crashout because it led to Tyler1 viewers harassing other Onlyfangs streamers.
F@*! ONLYFANGS (why i quit..)
Multiple members on the list notably only had viewers in the hundreds. Critics accused Tyler1 of using his status to bully smaller streamers. Macaiyla, Tyler1’s wife, told her husband that they “only played with him for clout.” The toxicity reached a point where some streamers reached out individually to Tyler1 to discuss the situation.
Onlyfangs member Yamato specifically wrote to Tyler1 personally. According to a fan-translated clip, he reportedly stated that Tyler1 felt “sorry” for insulting everyone. The streamer hoped Tyler1 would issue a public apology, and the streamer’s hopes were validated. The entire drama has fans wondering if Tyler1 will continue playing WoW.
Tyler1 will return to playing World of Warcraft at some point, stating that he did enjoy the experience. The streamer returned to playing League of Legends after the disastrous raid, leading many fans to worry that his time with WoW has closed. “We’re still playing WoW……Maybe I won’t ever go back to full-time,” stated Tyler1. Given the stress of grinding gear for a high-level warrior and managing a guild, the streamer likely wants to play the game for what it is.
The streamer also admits that he enjoyed being with other people. For the moment, it seems Tyler1 will take a break from hardcore WoW. His official YouTube channel confirms that Tyler1 has left Onlyfangs for the time being as well. If he does return to WoW, it may be on a more casual basis.
