Twitch streamer Elz the Witch to host the 2026 BAFTA Games Awards
Eleanor “Elz the Witch” Neale is a well-known name in the gaming and streaming industry, and she has just been named as the host the 2026 BAFTA Games Awards.
The British Academy Games Awards are among the most prestigious awards in gaming, making this a career highlight for the streamer. The event has categories ranging from the best game to the best narrative, crowning the year’s standout titles — and the 22nd BAFTAs will have Elz the Witch guiding viewers throughout the evening.
Who is Elz the Witch?
Elz the Witch left a career in IT in 2018 and started a YouTube channel. This was a big move at the time, because streaming wasn’t so mainstream and widespread as it is now. However, this career change worked out perfectly for the British streamer, as she has reached the pinnacle of her industry, hence the BAFTA presenting gig.
Elz the Witch is still active on Twitch and YouTube, but also has her own podcast, a weekly show on Kerrang, and is a presenter. She has also worked in sports, with production for Manchester United and streamer organization
the Sidemen’s charity match.
Elz the Witch’s career has been impressive, but the BAFTA Games Awards are still something that stands out among all of the streamer’s achievements. This is because she began her career with gaming streams and has now come full circle, hosting the most famous game awards.
