Trainwreckstv says he has given fans $85M through giveaways as he targets $100M

Tyler “Trainwreckstv” Niknam is one of the top gambling streamers, known for his huge casino wins and outlandish personality. Now he claims that he is heading toward the $100 million giveaway milestone after giving away $85 million to fans.
Trainwreckstv is known for big money and has built up a substantial net worth, as the streamer frequently goes viral for his big wins while streaming on Kick. However, the top casino streamer is also known to give back to his community. This is typically done in the form of giveaways, where lucky fans can be gifted large sums of money. Trainwreckstv has now revealed how much he has given away to fans and his intention of continuing to give more.
Trainwreckstv’s history of massive giveaways
Train revealed in a recent stream that he had given away upwards of $80 million to his fans. He elaborated that this figure was “straight raw” and wasn’t with the help of Stake or leaderboards. Trainwreckstv shared with his viewers that he wants to give away at least $100 million, as that’s a “solid” figure, but stated that he will continue giving away as there’s no end goal.

Viewers were quick to react to Trainwreckstv’s claims, with some questioning if the streamer had really given away that much money. While these can’t be verified, Trainwreckstv is known for giving away substantial amounts. In 2022, Trainwreckstv gave away $1 million to his Twitch chat after claiming that he won $10 million while gambling. This particular giveaway even boosted Train’s metrics significantly, with his stream getting more than 70,000 concurrent viewers and his subscribers increasing.
The 2022 giveaway wasn’t a one-off, as Trainwreckstv had also run a $1 million Bitcoin giveaway for his followers. At the time, Train was going through a rough patch and losing money while gambling. However, during a stream, he announced he would give $1 million if he hit $10 million. The streamer did, and he fulfilled his promise by giving followers Bitcoin.
Giveaways aren’t a new thing in the streaming space, with some creators, such as Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson, having made their entire brand revolve around them. MrBeast is so notorious for using giveaways or cash to entice viewers that he was recently called out by X’s Head of Product, Nikita Bier.
Our analysis: Money is a large part of Trainwreckstv’s brand
Trainwreckstv is known for his big wins and even his substantial losses. This is due to the streamer relying heavily on gambling content and he is in a world of his own when it comes to exposure in this niche. His content style — namely high-stakes wagers —sets him apart from traditional streamers who rely on different content and methods to attract viewers. Train’s gambling model may be why he relies on giveaways, as he includes his fans in his celebrations which in turn brings further viewers and subscribers; this also opens up the possibility of further sponsorship opportunities for the American.
The streamer recently discussed his gambling content, saying that winning $50 million isn’t what he likes. He elaborated that he likes the thrill of gambling, which is why he loses the money, so he can get the “high” after winning it back. This is a common motivation for gambling streamers, as the thrill of winning such a large amount is typically a better experience than the money itself.
Despite Trainwreckstv’s online persona being centered around big wins and losses, this should always be seen for what it is — a form of entertainment and not a means for making money. When gambling yourself, always stick strictly to a budget and never exceed it.
