Tyler “Trainwreckstv” Niknam has a track record of finding major payouts in casino and slots betting, and now he’s running up wins in CS2 esports as well. The streamer pulled in over a million from a single bet on a Counter-Strike 2 match during BLAST Rivals Fall.

Trainwreckstv may be most famous for his betting and gambling streams, but he didn’t begin that way. He first built his audience playing World of Warcraft and Counter-Strike while sneaking in the occasional slot stream on the side. Over time, that side content took over and he now focuses primarily on gambling streams, but he still has love for the games that he came up with in years past.

CS2 tournaments have a sizable betting market, and sharp intuition can really pay out for bettors. Trainwreckstv showed his fans that still knows the game, as a bet he placed on a recent pro match paid off in a big way live on stream.

Trainwreckstv wins a million in CS2 betting

Trainwreckstv was down for some CS2 betting action, and lucky for him, there was a big event taking place with ready opportunities as the BLAST Rivals Fall tournament was taking place. Two of the game’s top teams, Team Vitality and Team Spirit, were involved in a quarterfinals bout that was drawing some good action, and Train wanted a piece of it.

CS2 betting provides for a variety of betting opportunities. You can go for outright winners, match winners, or even individual map winners if you’re feeling brave. Trainwreckstv took the riskier route during this quarterfinals match-up, placing his wager on a map result. This kind of bet can swing either way, since guessing which takes which map is far more difficult than calling a series winner. Individual maps present greater variance than do full match results.

Trainwreckstv took to top betting platform Stake and put his money on Team Vitality taking the second map of the series, Nuke, which wasn’t exactly the safest choice given the squad’s recent form. He held onto the pick anyway, even as the map dragged into overtime and things started looking shaky. But when Vitality pulled off the win, the risk paid off, and his balance shot up with it.

With just that one map win, Trainwreckstv pulled in 1.1 million in Bitcoin, which is huge by anyone’s standards even if the high-risk streamer is accustomed to these types of amounts. He not only hit the map bet, but the scoreline landed close to the scenario he’d backed, giving his payout an extra bump and making the whole gamble a success for Train as he eventually went on to win an even larger amount on his 2-1 Vitality bet, proving he’s still got plenty of esports betting acumen tucked away from his time spent playing and watching Counter-Strike.

The streamer could barely believe the result, especially since he’d also picked up some smaller wins on his other accounts during the same series. And his fans watching live on Kick were nearly as excited as he was.
