Here’s what we know about totamc’s retirement from streaming

Brazilian content creator Jonathan “totamc” Augusto made a cryptic post on social media, fueling speculation that he may be retiring from streaming.
totamc started his streaming career in 2024, but got a massive boost when he was selected as a participant in Kai Cenat’s Streamer University. This increased his visibility exponentially, and the streamer then crossed 1 million followers on Twitch. The streamer has been regularly creating content since then, but he recently surprised fans by making a heartfelt post that many interpreted as a goodbye.
Fans speculate totamc retiring after he says he wants to live a normal life
totamc made a post that talked about him wanting to live a normal life, where he’s free to do all the things he loves.
totamc hasn’t officially stated that he will be retiring from content creation, and it’s not guaranteed that he was talking about the end of his streaming career. The streamer’s enigmatic post was shared widely in his X community.
He talked about wanting to enjoy life by eating what he wants, saying what he wants, and having fun with his friends. totamc also posted just the word “END” on his X account, further strengthening speculation that he’s retiring from streaming.

These posts surprised the streamer’s fans, and many pointed out that totamc has been given an opportunity that doesn’t come easily. They asked the content creator to consider his decision if he really is thinking of retiring.
Others supported him, stating that it isn’t easy to constantly be in the public eye. Some are critical and wonder whether totamc is just trying to farm views, as he has previously stated that he wants to become a big streamer. He could even be copying the playbook of Nick “FaZe Lacy” Fosco, who announced his retirement last year but is still streaming.
Who is totamc?
totamc is a Brazilian music producer and content creator who came into the limelight by participating in Kai Cenat’s Streamer University.
The streamer has been streaming since 2024, but reportedly only had around 31,000 Twitch followers at the start of 2025. He gained nearly 150,000 Twitch followers after participating in Streamer University, which proved how well Kai Cenat’s platforming of smaller streamers worked.
totamc has been streaming consistently, with content consisting mainly of Just Chatting, where he engages with his audience. He also streams in both English and Portuguese, which has helped him build a loyal and international following.
This is in large part because of a massive Latin American viewership on livestreaming platforms like Kick and Twitch. However, not everything has been good for the streamer, as there have been certain instances where his viewers have made fun of him. Despite this, totamc has continued to regularly broadcast, which is why it’s surprising that he would consider retirement — we will keep you posted any updates and whether the Brazilian really does call time on his fledgling career.
