The Tombstone Slaughter slot has intense mechanics that complement its visuals, making for a unique experience. Here’s how to play the game and what to know about its features and mechanics.
What to know about the Tombstone Slaughter slot
The Tombstone Slaughter: El Gordo’s Revenge slot by NoLimit City stands out for its exciting visuals and an insanely high max win number. It stands out as one of the most top slots to play for max win chasers wherever it’s available, including on Stake.
The slot uses an interesting 2-3-3-3-3-2 six-reel layout while giving players a whopping 324 ways to win. Wins can come from matching symbols when they appear on adjacent reels from left to right, which means that players can find some surprising ways to win when they least expect it.

With an RTP of about 96%, Tombstone Slaughter is easily one of the most volatile slots NoLimit has made to date. While wins aren’t necessarily easy to find, players are able to hunt down some really substantial hits, especially if they’re lucky enough to get the slot’s max win of 500,000x the initial bet amount.
One max win could be enough to make a lucky player’s balance very happy, especially if their stake is on the upper end of Tombstone Slaughter’s bet range of $0.10 to $100.
It’s tough to mention Tombstone Slaughter and not talk about its famously gritty visuals. The game leans heavily into a dark and cinematic Wild West setting, with saloon ruins, a lot of shooting, an even some teeth-pulling. The game has an exciting soundtrack that perfectly matches the slot’s chaos.
This could be the perfect slot to try for those who are tired of streaming colorful slots and want to switch things up.
Tombstone Slaughter slot features and mechanics
The Tombstone Slaughter: El Gordo’s Revenge slot has no shortage of layered mechanics, feature, and bonus systems to increase winning potential.
This slot’s mechanics aim to ensure that small wins are pushed away in favor of massive payouts. For example, the xRIP mechanic makes it so that wins that are less than the base bet are cancelled completely, giving players nothing. Fortunately, Tombstone Slaughter also has multiple favorable mechanics that can pull things back into bettors’ favor.
xNudge wild symbols only appear in the four middle reels, and vertically expand to raise the wild’s multiplier for every block it expands into before covering the entire reel. This can make it easier for players to chain together matching symbols with high multipliers for unexpected wins.

The slot’s revolver symbol acts as a powerful trigger that appears during the base game and bonus games. Only appearing on the last reel, landing it triggers three to six of the following bonus features:
- Backstab wild: Turn a random symbol from reels two to five into a wild symbol
- Shootout wild: Turn all matching versions of the randomly chosen symbol into wilds
- xSplit: Split a random symbol between reels two to five and double its size
- Infectious xSplit: Split all matching versions of the randomly chosen reel to double their size
- Justice Wild: Place an xNudge Wild symbol at the place of a random symbol from reels two to five
- Boothill Multiplier: Choose a random character symbol and give it a multiplier ranging from 5x to 999x
All Tombstone Slaughter bonus games and boosters
Slaughter symbols act as the slot’s scatter symbols. Landing only two converts them into reel split wild symbols, splitting every symbol on that reel in half.
Landing three slaughter symbols triggers the five slaughter spins bonus game, which spawns a revenge meter at the bottom of the screen that players can roll bonus symbols to progress, earning them additional spins and better starting multipliers. The last reel is guaranteed to spawn a complete character during this bonus, and the revolver symbol can give players the following additional bonuses:
- Killcount multiplier: Awards varying multipliers on the future levels of the revenge meter
- Revenge level up: Fills all the spots on the revenge meter required to get to the next level up
Landing four slaughter reels also triggers the five slaughter spins bonus game, but with two spots on the revenge meter already filled, along with an upgraded xNudge multiplier for each revenge level.

Landing a full revolver during slaughter spins triggers the massacre spins bonus game and gives two additional spins. Massacre spins have all of the features of slaughter spins, with the exception that the revolver symbol is sticky.
Five Massacre spins are also triggered if the player lands three slaughter symbols and one revolver symbol in the base game. Landing four slaughter symbols and one revolver symbol triggers five massacre spins with two spots on the revenge meter already filled, along with an upgraded xNudge multiplier for each revenge level.
Like with most other NoLimit slots, Tombstone Slaughter lets players bump up their stake to activate boosted spins or trigger the two bonus games through the bonus buy option. This slot’s booster spin possibilities include guaranteeing at least one or two slaughter symbols, ensuring the next spin gives at least two xNudge wilds, or guaranteeing at least one xNudge wild and one fully-stacked revolver symbol.
