Alongside the team invites for The International 2026, Valve today (May 26) unveiled the pricing and details of how to purchase tickets for TI15, and the price is the lowest in years.

For years we’ve seen the price of The International Prize, with a peak of around $700 as a lowest price for a full weekend for both 2023 in Seattle, and 2024 in Copenhagen. But after a fall in cost for Hamburg in 2025, tickets for TI15 in Shanghai, China for 2026 could cost you just $280, the lowest price in years.

TI15 tickets will be cheaper than they have been in years for most seats

In their detailed post on tickets and scheduling for the in-person attendance-accepted portion of TI15, Valve explained that audiences would be in the SPD Bank Oriental Sports Center in Shanghai between Aug. 20 and Aug. 23.

They also revealed that tickets come in single-day variety, or two-day bundles. What’s more, compared to recent editions, all seating will be assigned, so no swapping around. As a result, there’s a lot of variety in ticket pricing, with seats with better views of the screens and players getting much higher.

A basic, D-tier seat will cost between $60 and $105 with the higher price reserved for finals day. The most expensive ticket will be the Tier A Weekend 2-Day Bundle for Aug. 22 and 23, which will run you for $460. For the whole four days, that Tier A seat could cost you $780, which would make it the most expensive ticket price to date, but these are for premium seats in great positions.

Overall, this is a dramatic shift. While in the past, ticket pricing could reach up $700, there also wasn’t a cheaper option. This was combined with the fact in recent TIs there was no assigned seating, so it was a free-for-all once you got in, you could find your $700 ticket offered an awful view of the action.

With the variable pricing and assigned seating, the variety of price points are available, meaning there’s at least a budget option available. Remember as well, that in-person attendees at The International all have the chance to receive Crimson Witness treasures, a boon which can translate into hundreds of dollars of value on your Steam Wallet.

Ticket sales launch on June 10 at 2pm China Standard Time for domestic purchases, and can be purchased through Damai or the Perfect World App. For international fans, you’ll have to wai for 2.30 pm CST and buy through Trip.com.
