TI15 Power Rankings [Best Dota 2 Teams Ranked]

TI15 in Shanghai is right around the corner, and if you’re looking to follow the Dota 2 event, let’s make sure you know which teams to look out for. As someone who has watched every professional tournament throughout the season, here are my power rankings for The International 2026.

Disclaimer: TI Can Be Very Random

TI always has its own magic – the favorites almost never win, and some dark horse always seems to pop off. This ranking is solely based on the teams’ results throughout the season and how they’ve looked in recent months.

#1 TEAM VISION (PARIVISION)

This one was honestly a pretty easy pick. TEAM VISION, the recent winners of the Esports World Cup, have drastically improved since bringing in Noticed, who is literally looking like the best offlaner in the world.

They’ve dominated every tournament they’ve played in the past three months since Noticed joined, and the only time they “lost” an event was because they couldn’t secure visas in time for the BLAST Slam 7 Playoffs. They are arguably the best Dota 2 team in the world at the moment.

TEAM VISION was super close to lifting the Aegis at TI14, but choked in the Lower Bracket Final series against Xtreme Gaming. Now, they also have Puppey standing behind them – a man who’s seen it all. I trust that he’ll ensure his players are mentally prepared for TI15.

#2 Team Yandex

Team Yandex come in as an easy second. In my eyes, them and PARIVISION are clearly the top two teams in the world, and the gap between these two and everyone else is pretty large.

This team has good vibes, strong individuals, and one of the most experienced support players in Saksa to steer the ship. They’ve won three S-tier tournaments this season and placed at least top four in six other events.

Though the team is stacked with names like watson, Saksa, and DM, the player that deserves the most credit is their mid-laner CHIRA_JUNIOR. He’s a total beast, so keep an eye on him throughout the event.

#3 BoomBoys (BetBoom Team)

BoomBoys have looked very impressive this year. They had to bring in Kiritych to fill in the big shoes left by Pure after TI14. Kiritych took some time to develop, but he’s finally here and is looking like an extremely solid carry player.

Kiritych aside, it’s impossible to ignore gpk~ and Save-, who are clearly the two best Dota 2 players on the team. Gpk~ has been extremely reliable in the mid-lane, and Save- always finds massive impact in games.

Overall, BoomBoys have looked like a well-oiled machine in 2026. They won PGL Wallachia Season 8 and regularly make the top four in S-tier events. You reliably can count on them to make a deep run in your TI15 predictions.

#4 Team Falcons

Team Falcons are the reigning TI champions and currently top candidates to produce the first three-time TI winner in the game’s history.

They’ve honestly had a pretty disappointing season for a team of their caliber, but their recent performance at 1win Essence II suggests they’re ready to lock in for TI. They have extremely experienced players in the form of skiter, Cr1t-, and Sneyking, and two of the best zoomers in the world.

With a team like the Falcons, we can throw all their poor results this year out the window – I’m sure they’ll turn up for the biggest event of the year and they are also likely to have short odds at Dota betting sites.

#5 Aurora Gaming

Aurora are a team yet to win an S-tier title this year, but you really can’t ignore what the results they’ve posted.

They placed second at three S-tier events and made it to the playoffs at almost every event in 2026. Their only early exit came at the recent Esports World Cup, where they were eliminated in the single-elimination format.

This roster is absolutely stacked individually – Nightfall and Ws` are extremely strong sidelaners, and Mikoto has been rock solid in the mid-lane. I don’t think they’re going to win TI, but they’re definitely good for a very deep run.

#6 Iron Wing (1win Team)

Iron Wing started the season off as the clear number one team in the world. These guys were farming events in the first half of the season, winning four S-tier tournaments in five months. However, the team has since slowed down.

Maybe their honeymoon phase ended, or it’s because the players were sold off by Tundra Esports to Iron Wing – the transfer might have slowed down their momentum. Still, you can’t count them out at TI – they’re still a very scary opponent capable of beating any team on a good day.

If Iron Wing can solve their issues in time for TI, I wouldn’t be surprised to see them actually contend for the title.

#7 Team Liquid

Team Liquid made massive changes to their Dota 2 roster at the start of the season, bringing in former Gaimin Gladiators nemeses Ace and tOfu. They’ve had a pretty rocky year – they won BLAST Slam 6 but managed only mediocre results over the past few months.

But, that was before they played at 1win Essence II just last week. Team Liquid won the event, sweeping 1win Team and Team Falcons to bag themselves their second title of the year. If they are able to replicate their performance from 1win Essence at TI, I can definitely see them dealing some damage.

Let’s not forget that Liquid have three TI winners and two back-to-back TI grand finalists – you can count on them to get in the zone for this event.

#8 Team Spirit

Team Spirit this season are a pretty hit-or-miss team – but the problem is they’ve been missing all year. To be fair, the team was hit with roster instabilities, with Collapse and Larl taking time off for different reasons.

Then, Spirit brought in a new member, promoting not me from Yellow Submarine into the main team. Things don’t end there, as Miposhka makes a return, but this time as a coach.

Overall, Team Spirit haven’t had the greatest results this year, but we all know they turn into different beasts at TI. They’re not entering this event as a clear favorite, but we can never write them off.

Dota 2 Betting at GG.Bet

As always, TI will be watched by millions around the globe with some of the world’s best players on show. It also offers plenty of betting opportunities, with GG.Bet one of the most varied sportsbook sites, covering all types of markets, including outrights and in-game wagers.

The Rest of the Field

With TI15 being held in China, I’m sure many would want at least one Chinese representative in the playoffs. Right now, Vici Gaming are looking like the strongest team from the region, but Xtreme Gaming might pull something out of their hat again.

If we’re looking for dark horses, LGD Gaming and OG are good shouts. LGD have shown strong potential in the past, but have fallen off recently. OG displayed a decent performance at the recent 1win Essence tournament, where they were able to take maps off the big dogs.

The three weakest teams at the event on paper are Team Resilience, GamerLegion, and HULIGANI. It’d be a huge surprise if they perform well at the event.
