GTA 6 streamers

GTA 6 is easily the most anticipated game of the year, if not the decade. The hype has only grown with the release of more in-game screenshots recently and Rockstar also opened pre-orders and confirmed the cover art. Its looming presence also affects the industry more generally, with no developer wanting to release its game close to the November 19 release date.

Fan theories and story predictions have been plentiful, but one area of GTA 6 that hasn’t been covered extensively yet is that of streamers and how they will interact with the game when it launches. So, we thought it was the ideal time to look at the streamers that we want to see play GTA 6, and why.

Adin Ross

It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that Adin Ross is one of the most well-known streamers around. While he doesn’t necessarily have the largest audience anymore, his controversies and influence ensure that a good chunk of the internet is constantly aware of what he’s doing.

He may indeed have moved away from gaming, instead opting to engage in online gambling or reaction streams. However, GTA 6 will likely bring him out of his self-imposed gaming retirement. The streamer has already stated that GTA 6’s influence would be massive, even helping players earn real money just from playing the game in certain ways.

It wouldn’t be surprising if Adin jumped on the train himself, whether for content or to be the first to show his viewers how to make actual money from it. We also wonder if he will be a regular at the in-game casino. Since multiple creators in his circle have already shown interest in the game as well, there may be some GTA Online shenanigans to expect when the multiplayer mode eventually comes out.

xQc

xQc’s content usually branches out a lot, whether he’s doing something IRL  or reacting to drama on the internet. But loyal fans will definitely know that the streamer is also a huge gamer. He has participated in multiple online tournaments and was also part of the winning team in Jynxzi’s recent League of Legends tournament.

The streamer has expressed real interest in Grand Theft Auto 6 publicly. He is one record stating that the game should cost way more than even $100 because of the impact it’ll have, and his reaction to the trailer showed clear interest in playing it.

Some fans may not remember, but xQc also had a GTA Online roleplaying phase. While it’s unknown if that’ll ever return, it would be nice to see the streamer play something that doesn’t have him constantly raging, and the depth of GTA 6 would give him months of potential content ideas.

MrBeast

MrBeast Betway

While MrBeast isn’t a streamer in the traditional sense, he has definitely streamed previously for specific events. Some of his streams were extremely popular, primarily because of the fellow streamers he collaborated with.

The best way for the massive YouTuber to properly kickstart his streaming journey would be by playing arguably the only game that’s bigger than his brand. MrBeast also has a gaming channel, so watching him create challenge-like videos on GTA 6 would be something many fans would want to see.

Not to mention, MrBeast’s cultural influence can’t be understated. The creator basically pioneered the whole giving away money thing, and it really wouldn’t be surprising if GTA 6 references the trend and MrBeast-style energetic creators. Imagine if he actually took to Vice City to giveaway in-game money!

JLTomy

It isn’t a stretch to say that JLTommy is the biggest GTA creator in the world. While most GTA creators eventually moved on and started creating content on other games, JLTomy has stuck around and created a dedicated player base by just playing GTA 5 and Online.

He’s one of the most recognizable names in the French GTA scene, with his GTA roleplaying having developed through years of consistency. Moving to GTA 6 would essentially be a natural evolution for his content, introducing new mechanics, weapons, and roleplay opportunities.

Not to mention, GTA 6 is expected to have the longevity that few games can compete with. While the single-player content will naturally be limited, that’ll only be the case until Rockstar releases the next-gen online mode, effectively giving JLTomy an unlimited amount of content to potentially make.

Ironmouse

Ironmouse

Ironmouse is easily one of the largest vtubers in the world. Her content is extremely diversified, as she has dipped her toes in everything. This includes singing, IRL streams, and even reaction videos. However, her main source of content is still gaming-related. She’s a huge gamer at heart, which is seen in how she plays all sorts of games.

While Ironmouse did play some GTA Online roleplaying, she wasn’t able to turn it into a long-term thing. GTA 6 has the potential to change this because she’ll be with it from the start. The fresh start that she’ll get will allow her to learn and evolve her GTA-related content in a way that’s impossible with GTA 5.

Not to mention, the vtuber community is huge. With Ironmouse at the center of things, it would be awesome to see a group of vtubers regularly play Grand Theft Auto 6 together. It would be somewhat like the old VanossGaming or Sidemen videos, but with a whole new generation of fans watching.

What about streamers in the game itself?

The Grand Theft Auto series is renowned for its satirical take on American culture so we know that gameplay will also revolve heavily around this in GTA 6. With the title set in modern day America, it is also probable that the main social media and streaming platforms will also be parodied. The first trailer certainty hinted at that with multiple clips showing citizens of Vice City being shown on what appears to be an in-game social media platform, with the above screenshot just one example.
