TheNicoleT gets 9th Twitch ban, and it may be permanent

Nicole “TheNicoleT” Turnbull has been banned from Twitch and it’s looking like this one is actually permanent.

When it comes to often-banned streamers, many think of Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa. Newer fans of Twitch might instead think of Jessica “asianbunnyx” Ly. Right in the thick of things when it comes to getting regularly banned is TheNicoleT.

From 2022 to 2025, the ASMR streamer was banned a whopping nine times, something that had fans and haters alike wondering how she could keep dodging a permanent ban. It seems like the social media reaper may have finally come for her, though. TheNicoleT’s January 29, 2025 ban from the streaming platform might actually be her last.

TheNicoleT seemingly hit with permanent ban from Twitch

TheNicoleT has been given an indefinite ban from Twitch, which may see her permanently removed from the platform.

It seems like this ninth ban may be TheNicoleT’s last. Twitch hasn’t publicly announced anything regarding her future on the platform, but the generic statement on her channel indicates a permanent ban.

The message reads “this channel is currently unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.” The notice reading that the channel is “currently” disabled is ominous, as channels that are hit with a temporary ban state that the channel is “temporarily unavailable.” While it’s just a one-word difference, that one word carries a great deal of weight.

TheNicoleT responded to the ban on Twitter, with a tongue-in-cheek statement of “not again.”

This latest ban came shortly after a separate incident on the platform. She was banned on January 20, 2025 for just one day. She received this latest ban on January 29, 2025.

While it’s possible that TheNicoleT’s ban from Twitch could get reversed, this isn’t a positive sign for her. The statement suggests that her channel is indefinitely disabled, regardless of what Twitch’s plans are. Though this could be manually changed, she could be forced off the platform for a long while.

TheNicoleT’s Twitch ban came after 43-hour ASMR, Fortnite stream

It’s unclear what led to TheNicoleT’s probable permanent ban from Twitch. The ASMR streamer has been banned on eight other occasions before, many of them boiling down to violations of Twitch’s guidelines related to sexual content. Twitch does not issue public statements regarding its rationale for bans, and TheNicoleT has not publicly revealed any correspondences.

The ban from Twitch came after a 43-hour stream that included a just chatting session, ASMR, and Fortnite gameplay. The stream was last entitled “ASMR rerun tingles.”

Previously, TheNicoleT’s bans from Twitch have been quite short. From 2022 to 2025, her bans have varied in length from one to seven days. Going from these frequent short bans to a permanent ban is a whiplash-inducing turn for the streamer, and she’ll undoubtedly have her fingers crossed that this is overturned.
