The International 2026 (TI15) Finals Preview and Predictions

The International 2026, TI15, has reached its final day, and just three teams remain in the fight for the Aegis of Champions. With the lower bracket final and Grand Final still to come, everything comes down to one final day of Dota 2 action.
The lower bracket finalists will first battle for the right to reach the main event’s final series, while the winner will advance to face the upper-bracket survivor in the Grand Final. By the end of Sunday, Aug. 23, one team will have secured TI15 glory and lifted the Aegis of Champions.
Below, we’ve put together a preview of the final day of TI15, along with some crucial details about the format, what’s at stake, and what fans can expect from the final two series. Here’s our Dota 2 The International 2026 Grand Finals Day preview:
TI15 Grand Finals Day Format
TI15’s final day features two high-stakes series: the Lower Bracket Final and the Grand Final.
The Lower Bracket Final is a best-of-three, with the losing team eliminated and the winner earning one final shot at the Aegis of Champions. There’s no room for error, as every game could be the difference between a top finish and the end of the tournament.
After that, the Grand Final will determine the TI15 champion. Unlike the earlier playoff series, the Grand Final is a best-of-five, meaning the first team to win three games will be crowned The International 2026 champion.
With the Aegis of Champions now just one series away, the stakes couldn’t be higher. These teams have battled through the group stage and playoffs to reach this point, and there’s no room left for mistakes. Expect teams to bring out their deepest drafts, biggest strategies, and best Dota 2 to close out TI15 in style.
With so much on the line, now is the perfect time to place Dota 2 bets on GG.Bet. The final two series of TI15 promise to deliver some of the most intense and unpredictable Dota 2 action of the year.
TI15 Finals matches and predictions
Yandex vs. Team Spirit (Lower Bracket Final)
Yandex and Team Spirit are one series away from the TI15 Grand Final, but only one of them will get that final shot at the Aegis. We’re leaning toward Spirit here. They’ve looked incredibly dangerous throughout the playoffs, and when Yatoro and Collapse are playing at their best, Spirit have the individual talent and teamfight execution to punish even the smallest mistakes.
Yandex have shown they can hang with the best, and have beaten the rest, but Spirit’s experience on the TI stage gives them the edge in a series this important. If Yandex can force Spirit out of their comfort zone and keep the games controlled, they absolutely have a chance. Still, we’re backing Team Spirit to make it through to the Grand Final.

Team Spirit vs. TEAM VISION (Grand Final)
The Aegis of Champions is on the line, and after surviving the lower bracket final, Team Spirit would have to immediately turn around and face Team Vision in the biggest series of the tournament. This is where composure, drafting, and experience matter more than ever. Spirit have the kind of players who thrive in these high-pressure moments, and their ability to adapt from game to game makes them a particularly dangerous opponent in a best-of-five.
But TEAM VISION have shown the consistency, confidence, and adaptability needed to survive a best-of-five, and those qualities could prove decisive against a Spirit side that has already had to fight through the lower bracket. The extra series and pressure could catch up with Spirit, while Vision should be fresh and ready to take advantage of any mistakes. We expect a close Grand Final, but we’re backing Team Spirit to come out on top and lift the Aegis.
Our pick: Team Spirit @1.53
