The Crypt 2 is a brand new addition to NoLimit City’s haunted slots list, with a mouth-watering RTP and a max win that would convince bettors to look past the creepy visuals.

Set in a graveyard, The Crypt 2 continues the legacy left by the predecessor, The Crypt, in 2023. The brand new version stacks more features on top of existing ones with a boosted max win to justify the fixed RTP. The slot isn’t anything special visually, with symbols that are quite similar to what we have seen in the original. A mix of alphabets and zombies decorate the 6 reels that can extend up to 531,441 ways to win.

The Crypt 2 certainly has enough going on to justify a sequel and NoLimit City’s fans will particularly enjoy the game’s xNudge Wilds feature.

The Crypt 2 gameplay and features

The Crypt 2’s gameplay and features are easy to understand for those who have played the previous version, but new players may want to go through the main ones for their ease. The game runs on 6 reels, with the possibility to unlock seven rows. However, all players first start with top three reels unlocked. They become available as you spin.

The game offers 531,441-win ways, and to start making those ways available, players will have to get pass the first few spins that feel a bit constrained. As soon as the Forsaken Fingers symbol appears, it starts unlocking the positions that increase the number of possible ways to win. Still, early setups are capable of paying big as well as they offer a default of 4,096 ways to win as well.

The game’s symbol design will also feel familiar for those who have previously dipped toes in any of NoLimit’s slots like Supersized that uses the usual hierarchy. Gothic card values on alphabet symbols like R, Q, J, 10, and 9 are the low symbols, whereas the “Dead Legend” characters are the premium ones. Those symbols are the ones players must watch for as they feed into The Crypt 2’s main multiplier systems.

The Crypt 2 has a creepy Eye Collector feature, which appears sporadically. But, when it does, it starts collecting eyes from certain Dead Legend symbols, increasing the total multiplier. If you’re lucky enough and a Spider lands at the same time, the feature triggers additional eyes, converting the Spider into a wild. This simple chain can boost the multiplier further if several Dead Legend symbols appear.

This whole process requires some patience, which means this isn’t a game for new slot players after a quick win. Another feature that tests patience is xNudge Wild, which also interacts with game’s multiplier. When it appears, it glides down the reel until it reaches the end. At the bottom, the symbol stacks into a full wild reel, ultimately increasing the multiplier.

The exact multiplier depends on how far the symbol nudges:

Now, this sounds like a simple feature, but positioning matters more than anything else here since wins only apply the multiplier when the wild is part of the combination. When the grid has already expanded from Forsaken Fingers or xWays symbols, that stacked wild can suddenly connect multiple premium symbols across the board.
