The LoL betting world is in for a treat this weekend as the LCS Summer Split regular season enters its final week. Everything is to play for, from the battle for first place to who starts life in the upper bracket. Esports betting sites are unsurprisingly covering the games extensively, and here my tips to bet on for each LCS match this weekend.

Sentinels vs Cloud9

This is a series that could go either way, so why not place a bet on Sentinels vs Cloud9? While both GG.BET and BC Game have Cloud9 as the favorite to win this series — and take third place — Sentinels have a good chance of causing an upset in this one. Against similar opponents, Sentinels have looked a lot cleaner than C9, who are still adapting to a new head coach and two new players. This is the best time to bet against C9.

Team Liquid vs Dignitas

If you’re looking for a punt, take Dignitas to get the first blood in the first map at 2.24 odds. Dignitas have looked much better since the introduction of Dardoch. And with this being their final series of the year, TL are going up against a side with nothing to lose, while TL have a chance to lock in first place, barring LYON losing to DSG. When a side have nothing to lose, the shackles come off, and they look like a completely different team.

FlyQuest vs Shopify Rebellion

It’s astounding that GG.Bet has FlyQuest as the overall favorite to win this series despite how both sides have played this split. Shopify have much improved from last split, and now look like a competent team that can give the big dogs a fight on a good day. This is exactly what happened during the LCS roadshow. SR were able to take a game off the undefeated Team Liquid at the time, and narrowly lost to C9. FLY have been struggling all split long and so aren’t the favorites here.

Disguised vs LYON

Disguised vs LYON is probably the hardest series to find good odds on, but that isn’t going to deter us — DSG is not a team that have a lot of kills. According to Oracle’s Elixir, they have only 132 kills to their name in 13 games. That is, on average, 10 kills a game, which they are unlikely to achieve against LYON, who are on a rampage right now. LYON also needs to lock up first place with a win here, so a demoralising game one is likely.

☑️ Editor’s Take:

While there are some fun bets, the best one is definitely the FlyQuest versus Shopify series. Shopify, in my opinion, are a much stronger contender for Worlds than FlyQuest at this point. Even if it’s closer than anticipated, SR is on the ascendancy, while FlyQuest have been freefalling on and off the Rift.
