Everything we know about TenZ's net worth and how much he earns

Tyson “TenZ” Van Ngo’s net worth is a popular topic among Valorant fans, with the former competitive gamer retaining a large following despite his retirement.
Unlike League of Legends, Valorant’s competitive scene is driven more by its personalities. There aren’t two or three powerhouse teams who demolish every tournament, which is why it’s so much harder to stand out from the bunch. Still, TenZ made a name for himself as one of the most beloved Valorant players.
With multiple brand deals, tournament wins, and content platforms to rely on, many wonder what TenZ’s net worth is given his global appeal — and we will break it down here.
What is TenZ’s net worth?
While TenZ hasn’t ever provided fans with an exact number for his net worth, estimations set the number between $2 million and $3 million as of 2026.
Below is a current overview of TenZ’s estimated net worth, as well as information about his age and tournament winnings.
| TenZ estimated net worth | $2 million – $3 million in 2026 |
|---|---|
| Followers | 2.7 million on YouTube; 4.6 million on Twitch |
| Age | 24 – born 5 May, 2001 |
| Girlfriend | Unknown; formerly Kyedae Shymko |
| Tournament winnings | $176,725 |
TenZ has been around for longer than some Valorant fans may think. He actually got his start as a professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player with Cloud9 before moving to Valorant and playing for Sentinels.
While he won multiple tournaments in his career and was known for influencing odds across esports betting sites with his stellar play, including at the 2024 Master Madrid tournament that Sentinels won the year TenZ announced his retirement, those esports successes only make up a part of TenZ’s net worth. After all, any winnings he pulled from those triumphs had to be split between himself, his teammates, and the esports organization he was representing.

The streamer almost certainly owes most of his career earnings to other pursuits. Content creation is definitely a big one, as he frequently streams on Twitch to his more than 4.5 million followers, making him one of the most best-known competitive gaming streamers on the platform. He mixes his high-level Valorant gameplay with playing other games to keep his viewers engaged as he expands his horizons beyond just just sticking with Valorant.
With the following TenZ has, Twitch can lead to huge earnings through both paid channel subscribers and digital ads that are played during streams. By consistently streaming and making use of both features, TenZ has been able to make some serious money on Twitch while adding to his net worth.
Speaking of content creation, TenZ was also a creator for Sentinels, even after he retired as a professional Valorant player. While that isn’t the case anymore, he’s now signed with Red Bull as an athlete and appears at various Red Bull-backed events. These partnerships provide TenZ with steady income to go along with his streaming numbers, building up his net worth.
Pair this with all of the brand deals the content creator continues to get, and it’s safe to assume that he’s one of the more financially comfortable retired Valorant players.
How much does TenZ earn?
The best estimate of what TenZ is now able to earn in a single year is between $700,000 and $1,000,000, considering all of his varied sources of income.
He may not be a professional Valorant player anymore, but TenZ still possesses a dominating presence in the Valorant space. Thanks to his partnership with Red Bull, he makes frequent appearances at top Valorant tournaments. What’s more, the size of his audience on Twitch has led TenZ to regularly collaborate with some of the most popular streamers online, including names like Ludwig.
Considering the former pro’s continued prominence both around Valorant and beyond, it’s easy to understand why Red Bull would be willing to pay him significantly to maintain its sponsorship of the streamer and former pro.

Twitch subscribers naturally make up a good chunk of his annual income, but Twitch isn’t TenZ’s only avenue of content creation. He also has over 2.5 million subscribers on YouTube, where he frequently posts compilation videos, steam clips, and collaboration videos with other creators. Considering that most of his videos comfortably get six-figure views, TenZ should be able to earn a very decent chunk of money each year from his work there as well.
Sponsorships and brand deals are a big deal for any big streamer, with the former pro having collaborated with the likes of G Fuel, Xtrfy, and Secret Lab. But TenZ may be getting more money from his merch sales. Considering the special merch line called Project T that he launched in 2022 was confirmed to have brought in six figures in cash from its first release, it wouldn’t be a stretch to assume that his official merchandise gives him another steady stream of revenue and another addition to his net worth — even in 2026.
As successful as his career as a Valorant pro was, it’s not hard to understand why TenZ chose to retire and pursue a new path as a streamer when considering how much he’s able to earn and the degree to which he’s been able to build up his net worth since.
Earlier in 2026, TenZ broke up with Kyeade, a popular Valorant streamer; they had been together for six years.
How much did TenZ earn while playing Valorant?
Over the course of his career, TenZ has earned approximately $176,725 off of just tournament winnings alone.
TenZ won multiple tournaments in his Valorant career, starting with his VCT 2021: North America Stage 1 Masters win. The player got all of his major tournament wins with Sentinels, and stayed with the team for a while longer as a content creator after quitting professional play.
Other major tournaments that TenZ won during his Sentinels run include:
- Valorant Masters Berlin 2021
- Valorant Masters Madrid 2024
- Valorant Masters Reykjavik 2021
His biggest single tournament came from Valorant Masters Reykjavik 2021. Sentinels won a whopping $200,000, which was split among players and staff. While he also earned a share of $250,000 from winning VCT Masters Madrid 2024, the individual player cuts were smaller in that tournament.
Of course, tournament winnings weren’t the only source of income for TenZ during his professional run. He also reportedly earned a monthly salary of up to $20,000 while playing for Sentinels. This means that his total salary and tournament winnings should have bumped up his net worth by between $400,000 and $600,000.
The player previously used to play Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, where he was known for his time with Cloud9. While his peaks there didn’t even touch his achievements while playing Valorant, he still earned close to $15,000 off of tournament winnings as a CS:GO player.
