Tectone shows YouTube earnings, gets called “broke”
John “Tectone” Robertson showed his YouTube earnings in a recent stream, and viewers’ reaction was intense, with some calling him “broke” because of the apparent low revenues he has earned.
It is fair to say that Tectone has been involved in his fair share of controversies, and the streamer has also been hopping from platform to platform. He initially started to multistream on Kick, which also maintained a presence on Twitch, but then Tectone took a
break from streaming.
The streamer returned, but fellow streamer Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudo claimed Tectone’s break was linked to
an ongoing lawsuit. Tectone continued to stream on Twitch and Kick, but he has now moved exclusively to Rumble. He gave fans a glimpse of his YouTube revenue in a recent stream, but it backfired with fans making fun of the figure.
How much Tectone earns on YouTube
Tectone displayed his YouTube creator dashboard in a Rumble stream, highlighting that he made roughly $30,500 over a course of 28 days, with 12.5 million views.
In a recent stream, Tectone claimed that people online were saying that his “channel is falling off”. He excitedly showed off his YouTube analytics to disprove this and
revealed that his subscribers had increased by 250%.
The streamer —
whose output revolves heavily around gacha games and RPGs
— also stated that this was after he was banned from YouTube, and claimed he remained shadow-banned even after the suspension was lifted, but his views are now the highest for the month.
The streamer also revealed that he deleted 1800 videos from YouTube
because he believed it was affecting his views, and the results suggest he may have been right. Tectone said $30k is good, but viewers had a different reaction to the revelation.

Viewers expressed their shock at how low the RPM was for Tectone’s YouTube revenue.
They questioned how the streamer only made $30,000 when his viewers were in the high millions. It was also apparent that YouTube is no Kick in terms of revenue. Tectone had previously revealed that he made over
$1,000 in just a three-hour Kick stream. This is a massive amount for the duration, and many other streamers have started multistreaming on Kick since then. During the stream, Tectone responded to the negative comments about his YouTube earnings.
Tectone responds to being called broke after YouTube earnings go viral
The first thing Tectone clarified was that his revenue wasn’t leaked, and he voluntarily showed it to viewers, and he also reiterated that $30,000 is a good amount of money.
Tectone’s response came because of a post on X that alleged the streamer’s earnings were accidentally shown in a stream, and called him broke.
The content creator defended his revenue and questioned how a $30,000 monthly income can be considered low.
It’s also important to note that this is only his YouTube earnings, and the streamer likely has other sources of income.
