Tectone officially joins Kick, how much more money he’s making
Tectone officially joins Kick, how much more money he’s making
Streamer John “Tectone” Robertson announced plans to multi-stream content and he’s now fulfilled his promise as he has officially joined Kick.
Twitch streamer Tectone is a popular streamer who’s occasionally in the news for his at-times questionable content and
other controversies. Despite that, the streamer has managed to stay on good terms with Twitch and boasts close to one million followers on the platform. The content creator recently expressed his desire to
multi-stream content on Kick, which surprised some of his fans.
Tectone explained why he had made the decision to viewers, who were generally happy that the streamer would increase exposure for his content. The streamer has
already joined Kick
and begun streaming on the platform. That’s not all, as Tectone shared how much he earned during his first stream and it looks like Kick may well resolve his monetary grievances.
Tectone earned 8x revenue in Kick stream compared to Twitch
Tectone stated that he wanted to multi-stream content because Twitch’s ad revenue was down significantly and he was shocked when he made 8x on Kick during his very first stream on the platform.
During that stream, Tectone stated that he had fewer viewers on Kick than in his Twitch streams, but that he was still making more money on Kick. The streamer elaborated that he had only been streaming for three hours but had already made more than $1,000 along the way. He claimed Kick is the best site he has yet seen for streaming, at least in terms of its financial value for the streamer. Tectone said it appears he’ll consistently make eight times more on Kick than he makes on Twitch, and the streamer stated that he’ll do a complete revenue breakdown in three days when his analytics are properly calculated.

Tectone had expressed he was starting to multi-stream because Twitch ad revenue was down to 25% of what it used to be. His decision to join Kick is apparently looking to be a beneficial one as Tectone has already noticed a massive revenue increase on the platform. Kick offers a better revenue split to its streamers, which is why many content creators prefer the platform over others.
What is Tectone’s net worth?
Tectone revealed that he doesn’t have as much money as some other popular content creators, but that his net worth is still in the multiple millions.
Tectone shared
during a stream
that his current net worth is approximately $3.3 million. He stated that he lived frugally and didn’t spend money on many unnecessary things. The streamer claims it’s a joke that other streamers want to drive “a new Rolls Royce” for collaborations while also taking on other unnecessary expenditures. He said he doesn’t have a maid anymore and he cooks his own food at home.
Viewers shared their opinions on the streamer’s net worth with many suggesting he’s already made enough money to retire comfortably. Most fans appreciated that Tectone was humble about his money and didn’t seem to show it off as do some other influencers and streamers.
