APK Prince is a South Korean League of Legends team formed in late 2016.

The team’s first venture into the League scene started in the 2017 Championship Series Korea. The first roster included Kim "Cube" Chang-seong, Kim "Hoglet" Gwang-hyeop, two mid laners Lee "DO IT" Chan-ho and Kim "Rainbow" Soo-gi, two bot laners Kim "DAN" Seung-hoo and Moon "Route" Geom-su, and Park "Nova" Chan-ho.

APK Prince’s first Spring Split didn’t yield great results. The team placed fifth after going 6-8. For the 2017 CK Summer Split, Sa "Krvavy" Seok-chan had joined as another jungler, while Rainbow and Ethel earned themselves a consistent spot on the starting roster. With a better win rate, the team secured the last seed to the playoffs.

In the 2018 CK Summer Playoffs, APK Prince defeated Griffin in the first round. The team then lost against Kongdoo Monster, and in doing so also lost the opportunity to perform in the 2018 LCK Spring Promotion. The team showed it isn’t ready to fight with the best in the region after finishing the 2017 KeSPA Cup in the last place.

A disappointing first season meant some roster changes were necessary. Shin "HiRit" Tae-min, Lee "Mizz" Do-yeop, Choi "HaNan" Ji-yeong, and Song "HighDin" Bang-hyeon joined as new laners.

The new roster wasn’t able to perform much better. In the 2018 CK Spring Split, APK Prince secured another 6-8 record and another last seed to the playoffs. The team couldn’t measure up against Team BattleComics in the playoffs and finished in third place.

APK Prince was in need of a roster that can qualify for the LCK. The roster was almost entirely revamped heading into the Summer Split, with only Mizz and HighDin returning. However, the team faced a catastrophic run and finished the 2018 CK Summer in eighth place after falling to win a single game. Another disappointing KeSPA Cup run followed as well.

The team managed to qualify for the 2019 CK Spring Split, but wasn’t going to come back with the same roster. Jeon "Ikssu" Ik-soo, Lee "Fury" Jin-yong, Park "Secret" Ki-sun, Lee "KaKAO" Byung-kwon, and Son "Mickey" Young-min joined APK Prince for the season. With an 11-3 record, the team finished the Spring Split in second place. Falling to VSG in the playoff final, however, meant that an LCK seed was still just a dream for APK Prince.

But this didn’t discourage the team as it kept fighting through the 2019 CK Summer Split. Finishing the regular split in fourth, APK Prince secured another playoff appearance. VSG wasn’t going to take the team down this time around, and a 3-2 score in the final match qualified APK Prince for the 2020 LCK Promotion event.

The team defeated Hanwha Life Esports and Jin Air Green Wings for the opportunity to perform in the 2020 LCK Spring Split. APK Prince headed to the new season with Park "Kuma" Hyeon-gyu and Lee "HyBriD" Woo-jin as the newest members of the roster.
