Team Spirit and FlyQuest are set to face off in BLAST Rivals Spring, but how can you go about betting on such a lopsided match?
Though Team Vitality is the talk of the town in Counter-Strike, Team Spirit is still undeniably great. The team has consistently performed well in 2025, placing highly in many of the biggest tournaments of the year so far.
Spirit is still being held in high regard by bookies, which makes it tough to approach a lopsided match like this one. There are still opportunities, though.
Vitality vs FlyQuest – HIGHLIGHTS – IEM Melbourne 2025 | CS2
Team Spirit will play against FlyQuest in the first round of BLAST Rivals Springâs group stage. The winner advances directly to the playoffs, but will play another group stage match to determine seeding. The loser has to play an elimination match to stay alive in the tournament.
Team Spirit is no longer ranked as the top team in Counter-Strike, but itâs still a tough out. Across 2025, the team has still placed top top-three in every tournament it has played in with a strong win-loss record. This is Team Spiritâs first match since BLAST Open Spring, as it passed on competing in IEM Melbourne and PGL Bucharest.
Star player Danil “donk” Kryshkovets and the full Team Spirit will be competing in BLAST Rivals Spring:
Team Spirit bans Inferno and has played sparingly on Train. Itâs still very strong across the board though, with a winrate of at least 60% on each map over the last six months. Its best map is Dust 2, where it has an incredible 19-3 record.
FlyQuest continues to compete in prominent tournaments but results havenât been forthcoming. The team has been among the first eliminations in IEM Katowice, PGL Cluj-Napoca, ESL Pro League Season 21, and IEM Melbourne over the last few months. The team has been making moves to fix that, but that hasnât translated to wins.
Corey “nettik” Browne joined FlyQuestâs roster in March, and BLAST Rivals Spring will be his third tournament with the team:
FlyQuest has a 2-0 record in 2025 on Mirage, and thatâs the only map where they have a winning record. The team is 50-50 on Dust 2, Train, and Anubis and has a losing record everywhere else.
Team Spirit has beaten FlyQuest twice over the last year. The first was a brutal 13-1 drubbing in IEM Dallas 2024. More recently, Spirit won 2-0 in the BLAST Bounty Spring Closed Qualifier.
Team Spirit is an overwhelming betting favorite to beat FlyQuest. The moneylines on teams have swung wildly, and at one point the line was Team Spirit is 1.04, while FlyQuest was pegged at 10.31. Long story short, the bookies basically view this match as a slam dunk for Spirit.
Team Spirit should be able to score a convincing victory over FlyQuest. The bookies arenât off-base when they basically brush off FlyQuest. The Australian team doesnât have much of a chance here.
