Team Spirit has been on an absolute rampage since late 2023, which is bad news for Eternal Fire at ESL Pro League Season 21.
Thereâs a good amount of parity in Counter-Strike esports these days, but that doesnât mean there isnât a definitive best team. Team Spirit is on top of the game right now. It doesnât have those strings of first-place finishes that Ninjas in Pyjamas, Astralis, or Team Liquid did during their heydays, but Spirit is the favorite in every event it enters.
So how can you approach a match like Team Spirit vs Eternal Fire when it comes to betting? We break it down.

Team Spirit and Eternal Fire will face off in the ESL Pro League Season 21 playoffs on March 13, 2025. The winner of the match will face the winner of MOUZ vs G2 Esports. The loser is eliminated from the event.
Team Spirit broke out in December 2023 by winning BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2023 and has been running at full speed ever since. It won IEM Katowice 2024, the BLAST Spring Final, and Shanghai Major. While thatâs a short list, it has plenty of other high placements at top tournaments mixed in.
2025 is shaping up to be much the same, as Team Spirit won BLAST Bounty Spring and came in second at IEM Katowice 2025. The team will bring its longstanding roster at ESL Pro League Season 21, which stars fan-favorite player donk:
Team Spirit has a winning record on every map in Counter-Strikeâs active duty pool. Its least-good map is Mirage, where it has a comparatively low 52% winrate. Its best maps are Dust 2 and Nuke.
Eternal Fire doesnât get the respect it should. The team has been very active throughout the last two years and has posted consistently strong results. It has flown under the radar because it hasnât won many notable events, but it has placed highly much more often than not.
Some of that can be chalked up to its largely stable, all-Turkish roster:
Eternal Fireâs best map over the last 12 months has been Anubis, where it has a 76% winrate. Itâs solid on most other maps, with the exception of Mirage where it has a sub-50% record. It also tends to instaban Ancient.

Since September 2023, Team Spirit and Eternal Fire have faced off three times. Eternal Fire won a best-of-one, but the other two times theyâve met were in best-of-five grand finals. Team Spirit beat Eternal Fire 3-0 at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 #2 in September 2024, then won BLAST Bounty Spring in January 2025 with a 3-1 score.
Eternal Fire is regarded as a steep underdog against Team Spirit, with a moneyline of 3.82 against Team Spiritâs 1.26. Thatâs arguably a bit extreme given how good Eternal Fire is, but the head-to-head records suggest that this is valid.
Team Spirit will likely defeat Eternal Fire. The head-to-head results donât favor Eternal Fire, but Spirit isnât bulletproof like other top teams have been and Eternal Fire is a real threat against any opposition. But make no mistake; Spirit is the favorite here because the most likely outcome is Spirit winning.
