Team Liquid vs BetBoom Team Match Analysis

Two top teams that didn’t have to field substitutes in this stand-in populated tournament now find themselves contending for a spot in the grand final.

We predicted Team Liquid to become a top candidate to reach the grand final in our PGL Wallachia Season 7 overview, and now they’re only one step away. The boys in blue are known for their insane lower-bracket runs, as they typically shake off their early jitters and mount a run through the lower bracket.

Team Liquid thrives on momentum, and they’ve built plenty of it yesterday when they took down Heroic and Team Spirit on the same day. In these types of scenarios, Team Liquid are in their comfort zone.

On the other hand, the BetBoom Team cruised through the upper bracket, taking down Heroic and Team Spirit before they lost to Team Yandex in the upper bracket final. The first map of the series could have gone either way, but unfortunately, they got the shorter end of the stick.

But, they are still well in the tournament with another shot at a rematch. However, they’ll have to go through Team Liquid first.

These two teams have already played against each other earlier in the tournament, with Team Liquid taking the win. The BetBoom Team bagged the first map, but Team Liquid bounced back with two convincing wins to pull off the reverse sweep.

Both teams clearly have what it takes to reach the grand final, and we could be in for an intense match.

Team Liquid vs BetBoom Team Betting Picks and Predictions

As we’ve mentioned earlier, Team Liquid are a team that relies on momentum and thrives under pressure. The deeper they get into tournaments, the better they play, and the lower bracket final is deep enough for this tendency to continue.

It also doesn’t help that the BetBoom Team are yet to take a series against Team Liquid this year. The head-to-head record between the two teams has bled blue all the way.

The best esports betting sites favor Team Liquid to take the series, and we’ll have to agree. Team Liquid are the better team on paper, and the tournament conditions point to them as the favorite.

As a result, we’ll take Team Liquid to win the series, with over 2.5 maps also on the cards. Team Liquid don’t necessarily play the cleanest Dota in the world, so the BetBoom Team could steal a map.
