Complexity Gaming is still out in Europe, grinding its way through prominent tournaments, but bettors are wondering if it can get a victory over Team Falcons in PGL Bucharest.
2024 was actually one of the better years in Complexity’s long history in Counter-Strike. The team qualified for both majors, IEM Katowice, ESL Cologne, and even got some results in other events. 2025, though, isn’t off to a great start.
Complexity has been appearing in some prominent events in 2025 but the results haven’t been strong so far. So with the team staring down Team Falcons in PGL Bucharest, how are things going to go?

On April 6, 2025, Team Falcons and Complexity Gaming will play in the group stage of PGL Bucharest 2025. The event uses the “CS Swiss” format for its group stage where teams need to win three out of five matches to advance. This will be either team’s first in the event, so they will need to play at least two more sets to decide their fate. All matches in the group stage are best-of-threes.
Team Falcons looked poised for a coming-out party after a second-place run in PGL Cluj-Napoca, but things haven’t gone to plan since. The team finished top-11 in ESL Pro League Season 21 with a 1-3 group stage run. This was followed by another group stage elimination in BLAST Open Spring.
It remains to be seen whether Team Falcons’ roster is a top-10 squad waiting to happen, or whether it’ll be the organization’s latest “team that is always just kind of there” project:
The current Falcons roster has been particularly strong on Mirage so far, going 6-2 on the map. It’s also 8-6 on Dust. It has an even or losing record elsewhere, however. Worth noting is that Team Falcons has taken to instantly banning Anubis.
Complexity Gaming has competed in a few prominent events, but hasn’t been able to muster up a strong showing in any of them. The team was among the first eliminations at IEM Katowice 2025, and went 1-3 in the group stage of PGL Cluj-Napoca.
The organization refreshed its roster in January with two new additions, with Complexity Gaming’s roster now including these five players:
Complexity hasn’t been playing that often since putting together its current roster, only playing 28 maps in 2025 so far. It’s taken to playing on Train, where it has a 5-2 record and has been strong on Anubis, going 5-1. It’s also 3-0 on Nuke. Offsetting this is going 0-3 on Inferno and Dust 2. Complexity is yet to play on Mirage in 2025.
Team Falcons’ current roster has never played against Complexity Gaming. Falcons completely overhauled its CS2 roster in January and since then, the two teams haven’t come together. That said, the two organizations played each other three times in 2024 with Falcons taking two wins while Complexity got one.
Team Falcons is a huge favorite to beat Complexity Gaming in PGL Bucharest, according to betting sites. The moneylines stand at Team Falcons being 1.16 while Complexity Gaming is a huge 5.09. This means that the bookies are giving little thought to the idea of ol’ coL being able to pull this one out.
GRAND FINAL! MOUZ vs Falcons – HIGHLIGHTS – PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 | CS2
Team Falcons should be able to beat Complexity Gaming, though Complexity may be able to keep things interesting. In 2025, Complexity has five matches against teams that land within the top 15 of most Counter-Strike rankings. All of them have been 2-0 losses, but all of them have been interesting and competitive on the server. Odds are that this match will be similar to that.
