Falcons welcome Heroic trio to CS2 team.

It’s been a bumpy transfer season for Team Falcons, but they may have finally found the rest of their CS2 roster by raiding Heroic.

Falcons has seen some major delays in the off-season transfer period. With their eyes set on big stars in the CS2 esports world, they’ve allegedly been doggedly pursuing their desired players to the point that other targeted organizations have begun asking them to just let it go. Now that the first tournaments of the 2025 playing season are right around the corner, it seems the team has finally filled out its 2025 roster.

Here is Team Falcons’ final line-up heading into the new season, as well as the status of their recently released team members.

Falcons pull from Heroic to fill out 2025 team

After multiple attempts to sign other players, Team Falcons has finally rounded out its CS2 team ahead of the 2025 season with players taken from rival team Heroic.

Three members of Heroic will be making the leap to the Saudi Arabian team. Breaking up what many though to be a relatively stable team, the transferring players are:

The three former Heroic members are set to play for Falcons as the IGL, rifler, and AWPer, respectively. They join the team alongside Emil “Magisk” Reif and recent transfer Nikola “NiKo” Kovac. By signing over half of the Heroic team, Team Falcons will effectively take over Heroic’s Valve Ranking Points. This will allows the side to compete in larger tournaments in the upcoming season. Fans hope that the new roster could finally make Falcons a reliable top-tier team in competition.

This announcement follows the reported failure of several other deals Falcons pursued. Originally, Falcons had wanted to purchase Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov from G2 to complement his former team member, NiKo. When that fell through, MOUZ rifler Jimi “Jimpphat” Salo also pulled out of a potential transfer.

Former Falcons members looking for new CS2 teams

The transfer of three Heroic players to Team Falcons means its former members will soon be looking to join new CS2 teams.

In late December, Falcons benched most of their remaining roster and returned one on-loan player. Most of the players had been with the team for approximately one year or less:

Rumors have been circulating that some former Falcons members may already be in talks with other CS2 organizations. CS2 reporter neL reported that Ninjas in Pyjamas is set to sign  Snappi once Team Falcons finishes signing the Heroic trio. Additionally, SunPayus may end up joining Heroic in a roster swap of sorts. No news is known about the status of dupreeh and maden and whether or not the pair might remain on the Team Falcons bench.

After a tenuous trial, Team Falcons confirmed that it won’t be buying out s1mple’s contract and instead returning him back to NaVi. The team failed to qualify for Perfect World Shanghai during the legendary player’s tenure. Given that most of the roster was benched, it’s possible that Falcons just wanted to have a mostly fresh start. Could a new line-up finally be the key to the squad’s success?
