T1 is flying high after its recent World Championship trophy run concluded. Against the odds, the team rose to the occasion and won the tournament for the third consecutive time. By contrast, Team Liquid has gone through a roster overhaul following a disappointing season, with only the bottom lane being the same as earlier in the year. This already puts the LCS team in a tough spot, as it didn’t end the last split on a good note and may struggle to do better here versus T1.

T1 vs Team Liquid match analysis
It’s no secret that T1 is one of the strongest professional League of Legends teams in the game right now. With powerhouses like Faker, Oner, and Kiera, the team had an excellent 2025 capped by its Worlds finals win, and it likely wants to end things here on a high note. Gumayusi’s departure from the team leaves a big hole that his replacement Peyz may struggle to fill, but that shouldn’t come into play against Team Liquid.

Liquid’s recent domestic performance was poor, and its single international appearance also left much to be desired. The team has consistently struggled against high levels of opposition, and there’s no reason to suggest the same won’t apply against T1.
As soon as the match starts, T1 will likely go on the offensive, probably getting an easy first blood on one of the three newcomers to TL. This suggests that siding with T1 getting first blood is a strong bet.
As for the match winner, it shouldn’t be too tough for T1 to win against the LCS team. Keria is more than skilled enough to guide Peyz as he settles into his spot on the team, and T1 has an advantage against Liquid in the other two lanes. The only shot Team Liquid will have to win will be if the team can consistently secure objectives like dragons to scale in the endgame. But it’s unlikely that Oner will let Liquid’s jungler beat him in objective acquisition.

T1 vs Team Liquid betting picks & predictions
There’s a good chance that this match between T1 and Team Liquid will showcase the gap between the two sides. TL has come off as one of the weaker teams in its region this year, and while the stakes aren’t as high as at Worlds, T1 will likely give it everything to win all the same, especially considering this is the first big tournament the team’s new ADC is participating in.
Best picks

- T1 to win the match @ 1.2: T1’s team is a force to be reckoned with and should far outclass Liquid.
