T1 and Gen.G will meet earlier than most expected, in the 2025 Worlds Swiss stage’s third round, and one of the two Worlds favorites will find itself on the brink of elimination.

T1 and Gen.G went into Worlds as favorites to win the whole thing. Both teams shocked fansby losing to underdog picks CFO and Anyone’s Legend, respectively, in the second round, sending them to the third round’s middle bracket. LCK’s first- and fourth-seed teams will now meet on the big stage to determine which gets the advantage and which will have to play for its tournament life.

Doran’s performance continues to be a coin flip, as the T1 top laner occasionally makes unnecessarily aggressive plays to feed the enemy.
