Sykkuno responds to cheating allegations, announces streaming break
Twitch streamer Sykkuno has broken his silence after fellow content creator HemoMalVT published a detailed public document last week alleging that he engaged in a years-long pattern of manipulation, and infidelity toward multiple women in the community.
On April 16, HemoMalVT came forward with a detailed document accusing Sykkuno of manipulating multiple women into romantic and sexual relationships while concealing the fact that he had been in a committed relationship since 2021. The document contained screenshots and audio calls that included Sykkuno engaging in romantic conversations with women online.
That single document sent ripples far beyond Sykkuno himself,
sparking debates within the broader streaming community that took on a life of their own, including a public dispute
between xQc and Pokimane. Now, after a week, Sykkuno has released his own statement, including one by his girlfriend whom he allegedly cheated on.
Sykkuno responds to cheating allegations
Sykkuno has confessed to cheating on his girlfriend and has also apologized to his fans. However, the streamer has shut down all other accusations that followed the initial document released by HemoMalVT.
“I was unfaithful and I own and fully admit to that. I lied to people and told them I was single, which I know is not right. I’m sorry to all of the people that I hurt by doing this,”
Sykkuno said on X..
Soon after HemoMalVT came forward with her claims, several other streamers and content creators began sharing their own experiences, with some going as far as labeling Sykkuno a predator. Among them was Twitch streamer Leia,
who alleged online
that Sykkuno had unprotected intercourse with her in a Las Vegas hotel room during EVO.
The accusation drew sharp divisions online, with some arguing that the situation was being conflated, that while Sykkuno’s behavior as a cheater was indefensible, it was a separate matter from allegations of sexual misconduct.
In his document, Sykkuno has shut down those accusations as “false,” saying he can’t allow “extreme labels,” to be placed on him. His statement was followed by one from his girlfriend, who said that while his actions are heart-breaking, they are not “irredeemable”.

“Prior to all of this becoming public we were already making changes to improve our relationship, and while I could have chosen to leave I ultimately made the decision to stay with the hopes of repairing our relationship together,” Sykkuno’s girlfriend said.
Following his public admission, Sykkuno announced he would be stepping away from streaming and the internet entirely.
For now, he has chosen to focus on healing privately, away from the platform that made him one of the most recognizable faces in streaming.
