Sweet Craze slot guide: How to play, best bonus bets
Pragmatic Play has returned with yet another fun new slot based on sweets, as Sweet Craze up the personality and the winning potential to keep things exciting for everyone.
Sweets-based slots are relatively common online, with most of the top such games being developed by Pragmatic Play. Sweet Craze follows this trend while adding enough in the way of unique twists and features to ensure that it can stand out from its alternatives. Whether it’s understanding the bonus round feature here or learning about the types of bonus bets available, our guide will help players understand how best to play the new Sweet Craze slot game.
How to play the Sweet Craze slot
The Sweet Craze slot by Pragmatic takes a page out of its personality’s book and keeps the overall mechanics easy to understand for players looking to dive into how best to play it.
The game utilizes a 7×7 grid instead of the traditional overlays some players may expect. Wins are rewarded by way of cluster pays, with those hits requiring five or more matching symbols to be adjacent either horizontally or vertically. Winning symbols leave the screen and are replaced by new opportunities, ensuring the ball is constantly rolling for players. It looks almost like an upgraded version of Candy Crush, but with real winning opportunities thrown into the mix.

Sweet Craze’s RTP lands around 95.54%, which is just about the standard for most Pragmatic Play games. The high volatility means that hits may not be as often as some may like, but they’re still enough to create memorable moments when they do land.
Some of the most popular slots in the streaming industry maintain higher volatility to keep viewers from becoming bored by constant smaller wins. It’s a true test of luck, which is after all the essence of slots. With a max win of 10,000x the base bet amount, paired with a bet range between $0.20 and $240, those chasing that next big win could potentially find it here.
As expected from Pragmatic, Sweet Craze’s visuals are excellent. The game features a vibrant palette of colors and simple yet effective animations that keep the screen engaging and visually appealing. The burst of colors that comes with every win is enough to inform even newcomers to the slot scene that it means good news for the player. The candy-themed slot is sure to keep things cheerful and fun, whether for players or for those watching along.
Sweet Craze slot features and mechanics
Accompanying Sweet Craze’s high volatility are free spin bonus rounds and special buy features that could take wins to another level.
Aside from the established tumbling mechanic, players also have to learn about the chest symbol. Landing this symbol and getting at least one winning cluster in that same spin transforms it into a money symbol that can have a multiplier value ranging from 2x to 500x. The money symbol becomes sticky and stays on the screen until the spin concludes, including all of the tumbling that comes with winning clusters.

These money symbols play huge roles in bonus rounds, which are triggered when four to seven scatter symbols land. Rewarding players with up to 16 free spins, depending on how many scatter symbols are included, money symbols stay and stack their multipliers until all of the free spins wrap up. It only takes multiple money symbols on the screen at once to see your final winnings jump.
Those who don’t have the patience to rely on their luck to trigger bonus rounds naturally have a couple of bonus buy options. Outright buying the spins requires players to pay 100x their base bet for standard free spins, or 500x for super free spins, which guarantee that the minimum chest value is 10x the bet. Add the special bet options that increase the chances of free spins or guarantee chests in every spin, and this colorful slot could bring in some serious treats for players.
