Crypto casino Stake took the excitement of the FIFA World Cup 2026 to a whole new level by broadcasting a football game in the air, promoting the platform’s extensive range of current promos.

Stake is known for its over-the-top marketing tactics, which it typically broadcasts on Kick to promote the many campaigns it runs. The most recent marketing stunt featured players playing football in the air, which was a nifty promotional tactic for Stake’s World Cup offerings. Here’s everything about the stunt Stake pulled at 10,000 feet, as well as the World Cup promotions at the casino.

Stake reportedly hosted a football game in the sky

The popular crypto casino posted a video in an X post that started off with a hot air balloon featuring Stake’s logo. As the video played, it became obvious that a football pitch had been set up and players were playing on it high above the ground. The video was released during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, so it isn’t hard to guess Stake’s inspiration behind the marketing stunt. The advertisement had no audio or words other than the Stake logo plastered everywhere, including on the hot air balloon, the pitch, and the players’ jerseys.

Stake has several reasons to market in this way, but the most notable is the fact that everyone is talking about the World Cup right now. So, showing an eye-catching stunt involving football is designed to generate views. This is an efficient way to get more players to check out Stake’s World Cup betting promos, and potentially play.

Other companies have used similar marketing stunts, most notably Red Bull. The energy drink giant typically showcases daredevil stunts, such as football matches in extreme locations and high-altitude BMX riding, in its advertisements. However, Stake’s take on the World Cup was somewhat unique. Viewers praised the casino for its innovative method, with some revealing that they initially thought the World Cup promotional campaign was AI-generated given its scale.

Stake’s World Cup promotions

As the screenshot above shows, Stake currently offers four different betting promotions for the World Cup, which explains the drive behind the unique marketing. The first offer the casino has is in the form of boosted odds. The boosted odds run on every match, but only for one one selected market per game. There is also the 90th Minute Payout, which applies to 1X2 bets. Stake pays the player if the selected team leads at the 90th minute but doesn’t go on to win the fixture.

Additionally, the casino’s World Cup betting options also include a multi-selection offering. Players must select multiple legs, with a minimum requirement of three in the Multi Bet Boost. The boost increases as the number of selections increases, with the maximum boost reaching up to $100,000. The Halftime Rush is the final promo to note, which is only active during a 15-minute window, and players can get boosted odds.

These promos show why Stake is one of the most social media savvy and promo-friendly casinos out there this summer, but if it is not to your taste then GGBet is also running promos throughout the tournament, which ends on July 19.
