Team Yandex has continued its remarkably strong start to the Dota 2 season, following up its second-place finish at BLAST Slam 5 with another grand finals run in DreamLeague Season 27. It punched its ticket to the finals with a win over Team Spirit, which needs to recover against Parivision. That’s easier said than done however, as Parivision made its way to the lower bracket finals with an emphatic win over Xtreme Gaming.

Parivision vs Team Spirit match overview

Esports betting tip: Team Spirit has had Parivision’s number for months, making it tough to pick against them here.

My Parivision vs Team Spirit pick: Team Spirit wins at 1.67 odds at GG.BET.

Parivision vs Team Spirit in-depth team, match analysis

While the previous Dota 2 season was largely defined by its monotony with a handful of teams dominating every event for an entire year, a number of new contenders have cropped up since The International. Alongside breakout showings from Chinese team Xtreme Gaming, Team Yandex is looking the part of a serious contender moving forward, while the new SEA-based OG was unstoppable in the group stage.

As indicated in our DL27 betting preview, Parivision and Team Spirit are on the opposite end of the spectrum. The two teams are known commodities for fans and are looking to beat back these upstart squads. Both have looked generally strong throughout DreamLeague 27, albeit with Spirit looking just a bit better.

The real trouble for Parivision is “Spirit looking better” has been a running theme for these two teams’ rivalry for some time now. The two sides have played 14 matches against each other in 2025, with Team Spirit winning nine of them. Parivision hasn’t gotten the win in a multi-game series against Team Spirit since April. That was eight long months ago.

Parivision is no slouch, but this head-to-head match-up hasn’t been flattering for them of late. With Team Spirit being a relatively modest favorite with sportsbooks, it’s worth taking a good look at bets on Illya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk and company.

Parivision vs Team Spirit betting picks and predictions

Bookmakers are being quite generous to Parivision when it comes to the lines on this series. Though neither team has looked unstoppable in recent months, Spirit has generally looked better since The International. Nikita “panto” Balaganin has taken over as captain admirably and, at the very least, has been as good as what fans would’ve expected from longtime leader Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov.

There are a few big variables in play when it comes to this match, which could help Parivision. First and foremost is the new 7.40 patch, which is still being felt out by players. The other is Parivision bringing in Clement “Puppey” Ivanov as coach, which looks to be a great pairing so far.

Still, the recent head-to-head history of these teams and recent form of Team Spirit is enough to give them the nod. The fact that the bookmakers are looking at this one as a relatively close one is just an added bonus.

Parivision vs Team Spirit Prediction

Our pick: Team Spirit as the match winner at 2-0 at 3.46 odds at GG.BET
