Solary goes up against DN Soopers Challengers in the semi-finals of the World Star Challengers Invitational 2026, the inaugural edition of the tier 2 World Championship. Europe and Korea have been dominating the tournament, and only those two regions remain in the semi-finals.
This is the first time that secondary leagues face off internationally, making this the first true test of those regions’ strengths. Is the LFL the best tier 2, or will Korea give Europe a reminder of 2015? Here are my predictions for what will happen — including some of the best odds at

Is the LFL the strongest challenger league?
The LFL, and by extension the European Regional Leagues (ERLs), is showing up as a top two competition in the challenger ecosystem. The French league could very well even be the best one. However, tomorrow can either confirm that or send us back to 2015 when Korea eliminated both EU LCS teams at Worlds semi-finals.

Currently, Solary hasn’t dropped a game to a non-European team, and neither has Galions. While they’ve yet to face a
Korean
opponent, DNS.C finished in fourth place in the LCK CL. The KT Challengers who defeated them easily there had no chance against Galions. There’s no transitive property in LoL Esports, but SLY seems to be a clear step above DNS.C.

☑️ My Take: Solary to keep winning
This series has a very real chance of being a shock for Europe. Particularly, the first game win is a riskier
LoL
bet. If SLY was never challenged that well, DN Soopers Challengers could catch them off guard and win that map. From then on, I believe that Solary would recover anyway and that their level is high enough above DNS.C to still win the series.
Otherwise, Solary could simply 3-0. The LFL representative has been playing decisively, displaying much fewer of the mistakes that the other challenger teams have shown at this tournament.
As for DNS.C, they’ve scraped by step after step. When challenged by another title contender, they folded – they went 0-2 against T1 Esports Academy in their group.
I don’t expect this series to have that many kills compared to the others at this tournament. While most other matches reach 30 or 40 kills, games with DN Soopers Challengers stay lower on average. Solary doesn’t win that way either unless they play more loosely. So I consider bets on kill numbers to be riskier as well.
Overall, I predict 3-1 or even 3-0 for Solary against DN Soopers Challengers.
