While Sentinels already seemed past its peak when TenZ and Sacy left in 2024, the departure of zekken and Zellsis means that johnqt is the only player left from the Sentinels roster that won Masters Madrid in 2024. Fortunately for the team, johnqt is a reliable controller player, while N4RRATE has shown reliable fragging ability for over a year.
While the Sentinels IGL Kyu doesn’t have much experience playing on a stage as big as the VCT, Furia may be in even deeper trouble with its roster.

Furia took a huge risk by recruiting mostly newcomers or players who hadn’t performed in large-scale pro tournaments. While artzin had a good run with MIBR, his performance didn’t really stand out well enough to make him the anchor for a team’s roster, besides his excellent skills with pistols. With artzin and koalanoob, who’s also a reliable fragger that Furia can rely on, there’s a real chance that Furia could at least perform well in pistol rounds. This potentially makes it a good idea to side with the team winning the pistol rounds in this match.
Sentinels may not be as aggressive as Furia’s new team, but its players are very well organized. Kyu has the former IGL johnqt’s support, N4RRATE’s reliability as a duelist, and the former MIBR player cortezia’s skills, making this Sentinels roster a potential force to be reckoned with.
