Roshtein wins $4.5 million on $400 Power of Merlin Megaways wager

During a live Kick stream, Roshtein was playing the bonus round of Power of Merlin Megaways in pursuit of a big win. The game’s free spins system is interesting because it features a global multiplier that increases by +1 per tumble. This is why it’s possible to achieve such huge payouts on the game. The winnings aren’t due to stacked multipliers, but rather are attributable a consistently growing figure that can turn even a modest wager into a substantial payout if luck strikes right.

This is what happened in Roshtein’s case, as the streamer wagered a relatively modest sum of $400. His first spin in this winning run saw him land a 14x multiplier, which continuously increased by one to ultimately reach 26x, resulting in the streamer earning approximately $4.5 million in winnings.

The streamer landed multiple cascade chains during his free spins opportunity, which helped him to grow his multiplier further. He also triggered lightning-bolt wilds symbols, which in turn converted other symbols into wilds and gave him more wins.

Power of Merlin Megaways has 117,649 ways per spin for a player to win, and this is what makes the slot so popular among players on Stake. The game has great potential and remains entertaining because of just how large the payouts can become. Roshtein unlocked the game’s full potential during his auto spin session, getting the multiplier to reach 11,387, turning a mere $400 into $4.5 million.

The mechanics of the game are simple enough, with winning symbols disappearing from the reels and new symbols dropping in from above. This allows for additional wins in the same spin and an increased payout for the player. The lightning bolt symbol appears on the top reel, and it selects a single symbol type that it converts into wilds, fueling cascades and even more winning potential.

It all still requires a good stroke of luck to come together, but when it does, the results can be dramatic. That was the case here for Roshtein.
