Roshtein tries new Toshi Ways Club slot and hits a big win

A bonus hit for Roshtein on Toshi Ways Club happened so fast he had to squint at the screen just to make sure that he was seeing what he thought he was: a big win on a new slot that proved more then worth trying out.
Developer Hacksaw Gaming’s new Toshi Ways Club is already a big hit among streamers thanks to its chunky win potential and throwback Japanese aesthetic. The grainy CRT look is a welcome break from the traditional online slot themes, and it doesn’t skimp on payout potential either. Streamers are only just starting to put the game through its proper paces, and Roshtein looks like he’s already having a great time on it.
During a recent Kick stream, Kick’s top slots and casino streamer gave Toshi Ways Club a try while stuck in a seeming dry spell. But what was supposed to be another quick bonus buy attempt ended up clawing back a huge chunk thanks to a surprise late-round payout.
Toshi Ways Club win leaves Roshtein in a pleasant shock
Toshi Ways Club by Hacksaw Gaming uses the studio’s variable-height reel system, “HackWays,” where wins are achieved through expanding symbol positions rather than via fixed paylines. Hacksaw used this style in several of its biggest titles, and Toshi Ways Club feels like a solid continuation of that formula.

With a $300 base bet, Roshtein turned to Toshi Ways Club on Stake, hoping to stop the bleeding what had been a string of tough buys. The 10-spin bonus didn’t give him much at first, but Roshtein has the patience to stick with a game even if it doesn’t hit big immediately.
A string of orange character tiles finally appeared. The mid-tier symbols add a decent amount to the total, but a big swing was still missing. Throughout the bonus buy, the HackWays counter increases as more symbol positions unlock per reel, reaching values such as 729, 1,728, 2,880, and eventually 7,760 ways as the grid expands. Each spin rewards individual payouts, including multipliers expressed through “ways.”
The total remained under $15,000 until the very final spin, and Roshtein was so busy speaking to his chat that he’d missed landed a pink Octopus, one of the most valuable symbols in Toshi Ways Club. The high-paying symbol triggered a massive combination of pink “A” symbols, generating a large payout increase.
When Roshtein finally focused on the screen, he was met with a $46,140 win that seemed to come out of nowhere. Even he appeared unsure which exact sequence triggered the payout, a reaction that makes sense given how many moving parts the Toshi Ways Club mechanics involve. It was an example of what this new slot can pay out once bettors understand how best to play Toshi Ways Club, and a reminder that even a seasoned gambler like Roshtein would do well to better understand the game’s he’s getting into.
