Next we checked both the desktop website and the mobile browser version of Zonko to see how easy it is to use for both beginners and sweepstakes veterans. Overall, we think it gives a smooth gaming experience, with plenty of navigation options and game filters.
The desktop site looks and works great
We immediately liked the Zonko desktop website – it has a simple but effective scheme and follows a common left-to-right layout that you will see at most US sweepstakes casinos. On the left, there is the main navigation – use this to switch between the game library, promotions, Gold Coin store, and your account management.
In the middle is the main content section where things like the game thumbnails are shown. It’s just easy to use, with fast page speeds and no technical issues.
The only small improvement we suggest is the scrolling bar that shows the different game providers – there needs to be a clickable arrow to move this bar, instead of just using a click and dragging motion with your mouse which can be difficult.
There’s a mobile-responsive browser version
We saw no mobile app for Zonko, but this is to be expected as virtually no sweepstakes casinos have apps. Instead, we tested the mobile browser site on an Android smartphone – it works great. It has a similar layout to the desktop site, but everything is more condensed and conveniently located for touchscreen control. The games all worked fine too, and we had a blast playing the fishing games from KA Gaming on mobile as you can hold your phone like a gaming controller for better shooting control.
