Despite my years of reviewing mystery box sites, I always get excited every time I unbox packs and obtain items. And when I recently discovered Unbox.gg, I already knew I could get started without an Unbox.gg promo code.
When I signed up on this platform, I found a case called Daily Recruit Degen I. After opening it, I received a paper clip (spoiler alert). I noticed that I’m eligible to open another case every 24 hours. I also found other interesting promotions like daily races, VIP program, Rain Chat, rakeback, and Fun Coins.
Overview of Unbox.gg
Unbox.gg is a platform that lets you open different mystery boxes as low as 0.09 Tokens to as high as 2,500.98 Tokens. As I’ll explain below, you’ll need to create an account, fund it, and use it to purchase your preferred pack.
Based on my Unbox.gg review, I noticed that this platform operates in a unique way by providing a fun currency (Fun Coins) and a real-money currency (Tokens). Let me explain each right away.
Fun Coins have no real value. So, use them in fun mode to unbox different mystery boxes. Just note that you cannot withdraw them at any point. Tokens, on the other hand, are the real deal. You use them to open valuable boxes, and you can withdraw them for cash (via cryptocurrency).
When you purchase mystery boxes with Tokens and pull a high-value item, you’re free to ship it to your home address.
Besides opening different mystery boxes, you can enjoy Battles as well as an Upgrader feature on this platform. The former lets you engage other users in battle by opening different mystery boxes. If yours is worth more than theirs, you win. As such, you can claim your opponent’s items. The Upgrader feature lets you potentially upgrade an item to a higher value.
What is Unbox.gg sign-up offer?
It comes in the form of a daily case. All you have to do is sign up, and you’ll find the widget on your account page. Here are the possible items I could pull from this daily case, which is also called Daily Recruit Degen I.
| Possible item | Item value | Pull odds |
|---|---|---|
| Valorant champions merch | $45 | 0.0001% |
| My Hero Academia: Eri Funko Pop | $8 | 0.002% |
| Displate magnet | $1 | 0.04% |
| Christmas tree keychain | $0.50 | 0.4% |
| My Hero Academia: Ochaco #1 Button | $0.20 | 0.8% |
| Air Jordan Sticker | $0.10 | 1% |
| 2009 New Year’s Glasses | $0.02 | 5% |
| Paper Clip | $0.01 | 92.7579% |
I clicked Open and got a paper clip. Then, I immediately sold it, and my on-site wallet got updated with the amount.

Other promotions you’ll find at Unbox.gg
The free daily case is only the start. Once you’ve opened it, the site has a whole menu of extra promotions. Here are a few deals that I found:
Daily races
Each day, there are 5,000 Tokens to be shared among the top 15 players on a daily race leaderboard. All you have to do is purchase packs and obtain points. The more you purchase, the higher you climb the charts. If you take first place, you’ll go home with 900 Tokens. Take second place, and you’ll get 650 Tokens. These rewards occur daily, so if you miss a day, feel free to return the next day.
Daily cases
Besides the free daily case you’ll get at sign-up, this platform has others that you can claim every 24 hours. But they are not free. If you want to claim the next case (Daily Recruit Degen II), you’ll need to spend at least 31.07 Tokens. For the next case (Daily Recruit Degen III), you need to spend a minimum of 81.60 Tokens. The more you spend, the more daily cases you can unlock.
Rakeback
This essentially hands a slice of the platform’s edge on your play back to you in Tokens. Based on my review, I noticed you’ll get 10%, and you can claim it via these schedules:
- Instant rakeback: Available to claim at any time
- Weekly rakeback: Claimable every Friday at 5:00 PM GMT till Saturday 5:00 PM GMT
- Monthly rakeback: Available on the fifth day of each month at 5:00 PM GMT.
Chat rain
Community chats can be loads of fun, especially when you receive freebies. Every 20 to 60 minutes, a rain event pops up via chat. You only have 2 minutes to tap Join and finish the captcha. The base rain is 5 Tokens, and it grows with the amount of gameplay on the platform.
After the event, here’s how the reward pool will be distributed:
- 20% for users who joined the rain event.
- 10% for users who played at least 50 Tokens during the preceding three hours.
- 10% for users who played at least 500 Tokens during the preceding 24 hours.
- 15% for users who played at least 5,000 Tokens during the preceding 30 days.
- 10% for users who are at Cadet Dealer II level or higher
- 15% for users who are at Sergeant Stacker I level or higher.
- 15% for users displaying the Unbox.gg server tag on Discord.
If you miss this window, you’ll have to wait for the next one. So, stay active and keep the chat open.
Fun Coins faucet
We all run out of fun sometimes, yeah? So, you can run out of Fun Coins as well. Thankfully, there’s a faucet available that lets you claim 200 Fun Coins every hour. If you stay active all day, you can obtain 4,800 Fun Coins. It’s a cool way to keep your balance topped up and remain entertained.
VIP Program
Unbox.gg has 300 VIP loyalty tiers you can climb. You start at Recruit Degen (level 0), advance through Captain Ace (level 150) and Colonel Whale (level 210), and end at Supreme Leader (level 300). Climbing these tiers involves spending Tokens on different packs. The more you spend, the faster your climb rate.
When you claim higher ranks, you’ll unlock new daily cases and rakebacks. Interestingly, the platform has an ongoing offer where the first person to reach Emperor (level 270) gets a $50,000 reward.
Social media promotions
This is another way you can claim freebies without any stress. Feel free to follow Unbox.gg on X and Instagram or look out for brand-related streams on Kick. These channels usually provide information about platform announcements, community activities, and promotional opportunities.
