First things first – BetHog is legit, and here’s why
Allow us to kick things off with a brief overview of BetHog’s background. As we mentioned above, the site is the brainchild of original FanDuel co-founders Rob Jones and Nigel Eccles, who rolled out BetHog as a new crypto gaming startup back in late 2024.
Of course, this means that the BetHog Operations Ltd owned brand is totally above board – their site holds a recognized license from the Government of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan and accepts users from multiple countries all around the world.
However, some parts of the Anglosphere, such as the US, UK and Australia, are currently listed as “Prohibited Jurisdictions” on the site’s Terms of Service page, while the games and sports available here may vary depending on your region, too.
As for security, fairness and reputation, we also found that BetHog:
- Uses SSL encryption.
- Offers “Provably Fair” crypto casino games with blockchain verifiable outcomes.
- Has an “Excellent” TrustPilot rating.
- Offers ample responsible gambling tools for players and bettors alike.
What games and sports markets are available?
We were impressed to see BetHog advertising upwards of 3,000 different casino games in our region at the time of writing, as well as coverage of more than 15 major sports markets. Although as we said above, the service offering does vary a bit from one permitted country to another. So, please keep this in mind.
Nevertheless, here’s a breakdown of the key games and sports our BetHog review uncovered:
Casino – slots, tables, live games and more
BetHog’s game lineup is deliciously diverse, with anything from classic slots, blackjack and roulette tables to quirky game shows like Snakes & Ladders Live and Money Time for the taking.
The site’s “Live Casino” and “Game Show” pages feature standout, top quality games powered by Pragmatic Play and Evolution Gaming, while most of BetHog’s reels and megaways titles come courtesy of Play N Go, SlotMill, BGaming and Nolimit City – meaning there are no disappointments as far as game graphics and loading times go.
Baccarat games are a bit limited in some parts of the world, while the Live Casino selection is a little smaller than what some competitors offer, too. But generally, we found that there’s plenty enough to chew on here.
Sports bets – superb coverage across 15+ major markets
As BetHog is essentially a FanDuel sister site, we found that a lot of effort has gone into producing a tip top sportsbook here, too. There were 16 major markets available in our region at the time of writing, broken down into around 45 individual leagues and events – 39 of which qualified for live and in play betting.
We were impressed to find competitive odds on the following sports. As well as tons of betting options ranging from moneylines, totals and spreads to player props and parlays, too:
- Basketball.
- Soccer.
- Rugby.
- Tennis.
- Table Tennis.
While in many parts of the world, we found you can expect solid odds on Counter Strike, Dota 2 and a few popular esports to boot. The site’s betting tools are intuitive and easy to use, too – although we didn’t see much advertised here in the way of last minute odds boosts, or ACCA style promotions.
- Consistently top-tier odds
- Full HD sports live streams
- Match-based betting promos
Bonus offers – our BetHog review’s findings
As is the case with many crypto casinos and international facing sportsbooks, BetHog has a habit of offering completely different bonuses depending on where you’re playing or betting from.
In our guide right here, we’ve included geo-targeted banners that’ll automatically pull through the correct BetHog bonus offers for your area. So, be sure to check these out – as they contain accurate info tailored especially to you.
As an example of the kind of thing you might find, though, new users in our region were being offered an up to $1,000 first deposit match on qualifying deposits of 20 USDT+ at the time of writing. While other offers you may (or may not) stumble across, might include:
- Loss back promos on Bullshark, 3Oaks and BGaming games.
- Weekly “Airdrop Lottery” events.
- Refer a friend rewards.
VIP bonuses available at BetHog
Here’s yet more interesting news – we also found that BetHog runs a loyalty program called “VIP Rewards” across many of its available regions.
Where the program’s up for grabs, there are usually 10 levels that you can climb by collecting XP points as you play at qualifying casino games, or place eligible sports singles or multi-bets on the site – with different wagers rewarding XP at different rates.
Our BetHog review found that “Tier Up” bonuses, daily and weekly rewards and more are all available under the program. Ordinarily, 500 XP is required to break into the initial “Copper” tier, while you’ll need a whopping 17,000,000 XP to reach second from top “Diamond” level. Mysteriously, the scheme’s highest “Hogzilla” status is available on an exclusive, invite only basis – and benefits aren’t disclosed at all to non members.
Finding your way around BetHog’s site
BetHog’s site is beautifully put together – there’s a collapsible side menu in the far left that’ll take you anywhere you need, switchable buttons for hopping between “Sports” and “Casino” modes at the top of the homepage, and a searchable “Help Center” tab that’s littered with beginner friendly FAQs, too. Meanwhile, both games and sportsbook odds are easy to browse, thanks to ample filter options.
Much like we found in the BetPanda review we published recently, BetHog doesn’t appear to have launched or promoted an iOS or Android app yet across most parts of the world. But we’d say this is no problem whatsoever, as the brand’s site loads fast and resizes sensibly when accessed from most smartphones and tablets using Chrome, Safari or other trusted browsers, anyway.
Customer support options at BetHog
The “Help Center” we mentioned in that last section ought to be your first port of call if ever you’re confused about anything at BetHog. It offers page after page of well categorized blog articles that we think cover most of what you’ll need – from deposit and withdrawal rules, to bonus T&Cs.
If you have a more specific query, there’s a live chat icon in the bottom right hand corner of any BetHog webpage, which is AI powered and super fast acting. The service also offers a very rare attachment option for adding screenshots, which we tested out for ourselves – finding that the brand’s AI host, “The Hog”, did a solid job of analyzing the images we sent in, and getting back to us in a flash.
To speak to a human, you’ll need to submit a support ticket, which is a bit of a faff, but remains competitive in terms of waiting times. We heard back from a real agent within less than 3 hours after writing in a dummy query of our own.
Your choices for deposits and withdrawals
Much as we found in our BitCasino.io review, BetHog is a very crypto centric brand. This means you’ll need to use the likes of Bitcoin, Ethereum or Tron to fund your account from most regions – the site’s support confirmed categorically that you can’t deposit using fiat yet, unfortunately. On the upside, deposits are usually processed right away.
As for cashing out, the brand strives to process all withdrawal requests within one business day. However, delays may sometimes occur, and regional differences may apply, while your preferred crypto wallet and chosen network could impact waiting times, too.
Here are the latest payment options, limits and average processing times for players in most areas:
| Cryptocurrency | Min. deposit limit | Deposit processing time | Min. withdrawal limit | Withdrawal processing time |

| Tether (USDT) | 20 USDT | Usually instant | 5 USDT | Up to 1 business day |

| Ripple (XRP) | 6 XRP | Usually instant | 1 XRP | Up to 1 business day |
Our BetHog review conclusion – a top crypto casino/sportsbook combo
BetHog reviews far and wide have generally given a lot of praise to the brand since its big launch, and we can totally see why.
Sure, the site remains crypto only for now. But across most of its permitted regions, it offers thousands of top quality casino games from huge names like Evolution, 3Oaks and Nolimit City. While sports fans aren’t at all overlooked, either – there are dozens of sports to choose from, with competitive odds on anything from soccer to table tennis.
