Why did Trainwreckstv stop streaming on Kick?
Trainwreckstv hasn’t streamed in quite some time, leaving fans wondering whether he’s simply taking a break or stepping away from Kick altogether.
It’s been over a month since Trainwreckstv last streamed on Kick. His last stream was also noticeably shorter than many of the recent sessions he had been doing on the Stake-owned platform. Initially, fans assumed he was simply taking a break, but recent hints suggest there may be more to the absence.
Trainwreckstv has been absent from Kick since January 18, but made a rare appearance on Cheesur’s voice chat on a recent stream. There, he hinted at trouble with Kick CEO, Ed Craven, even hinting at triggering a streamer revolt against Stake.
Trainwreckstv reveals reason behind Kick absence
According to Trainwreckstv’s comment on Cheesur’s chat, Stake is to be blamed for his absence from Kick. The streamer accused the betting site of being “greedy,” and called out Ed Craven for not valuing him.

The subject started on Cheesur’s stream who asked Trainwreckstv the reason behind his Kick absence and when he’ll be back. Trainwreckstv confirmed that he’s returning soon, which comes as a relief to fans who assumed he’d left Kick. However, it’s not yet all good between Kick CEO and Trainwreckstv.
According to Trainwreckstv,
Stake
has been devaluing him. During the stream, he also called out Ed Craven, saying you can’t “trust a friend” without a contract. The remarks made it clear that Trainwreckstv has ongoing issues with Stake, the gambling company that is also co-owned by Kick’s CEO
“It’s time to do our thing. It’s time to show them that if you want to devalue us, let’s see what we can take” Trainwreckstv continued. “I can organize the largest leading of streamers from Stake, I think I can do it. There’s change coming.”
It’s worth noting that
Trainwreckstv is one of the co-founders
and advisors at Stake, per his X bio. His contribution to Kick’s growth has also previously been acknowledged by Ed Craven himself, but if Trainwreckstv’s recent claims are to be believed, there’s likely no paperwork to any formal role in the company.
Trainwreckstv won’t be the first streamer to have issues with Stake. Previously, Adin Ross had quite a public fallout with the
betting site, which led to him signing with Rainbet. If Trainwreckstv fails to fix his issues with Ed Craven, chances are he’d continue to stream on Kick, just with a different gambling partner.
