Rakai claims Kai Cenat is returning to streaming
A clip of Twitch streamer Quvonn “Rakai” Linder has gone viral, where he claims to have information about Kai Cenat’s imminent return to streaming.
Kai Cenat went on a break after the completion of his Mafiathon 3, where the streamer broke many records and made a large sum of money. He made a
brief appearance at The Streamer Awards 2025, but didn’t start streaming again. The streamer revealed to fans that he’s building a clothing line,
Vivet, and has stopped streaming to focus completely on this new venture. Since then, there have been a few rumors suggesting Kai Cenat may return, and now, Rakai is claiming he knows the date.
Rakai claims Kai Cenat will return to streaming “tomorrow”
On May 8, a clip of Rakai surfaced where the streamer was discussing Kai Cenat’s return to streaming. He claimed “Kai is going live,” and said he knows the exact day Cenat will return to streaming. He muted his microphone when saying the date, but seemingly said “tomorrow,” which means May 9. However,
it’s important to note that Kai Cenat has not returned at the time of this writing.

Kai Cenat has been on a break for roughly seven months and hasn’t publicly revealed intentions of returning to the streaming space. He has posted some videos showing the development of Vivet, and appears to be completely focused on the new venture. This is why many viewers called out Rakai,
alleging that the streamer was using Kai’s name for clout, and Cenat may not return to streaming at all.
However, things took an interesting turn when a clip of Kai Cenat apparently leaving the AMP house went viral on social media. Viewers were quick to start speculating whether Kai would return after all. Some questioned whether Cenat may have just been visiting his friends, while others asked if the individual in the clip was actually Kai. This level of online intrigue only goes to show
his ongoing popularity despite the extended break.
This isn’t the first time viewers have thought Kai Cenat may return
Kai Cenat posted
“Mafia reunion” on his Instagram story in April, which ignited rumors about the streamer potentially making a comeback. These speculations remain unfounded, as Kai Cenat is still on his break and didn’t address the rumors. This has led to many fans becoming cynical about the streamer starting to livestream again.
Some viewers have even questioned why Kai Cenat doesn’t disable his Twitch channel, so those who are subscribed won’t have to pay a recurring monthly fee. This is a controversial topic, with fans supporting Kai in making money, while others say it’s wrong for the streamer to earn without broadcasting.
It should become clear in the near future what the American’s plans are when it comes to a streaming return — if he does at all.
